Golf News , Bets , Tips and Updates..

Hi all ,
This is a new page for my golf thoughts only , some tips and advice plus other misc' news and updates...

We will be starting off this page with a look at the

Zurich Classic of New Orleans..

from the USPGA which is my niche area and its another decent turnout for this comp that holds $6,800,00 in prizemoney.

For the outright win i think this is set up perfectly for Justin Rose to nail a Win as a lot of the " A " team are elsewhere although the Aussies which includes the in form John Senden could prove tough to beat , Rickie Fowler for the USA is playing some solid stuff and rates a danger alongside Robert Garrigus , outsiders ?..well i will put forward Paul Casey , Rory Sabbatini and Keegan Bradley as all three could prove upto the task if it goes their way.

I have stated previously tho that the Aussies are worth following as they will win a few this year....lets see how the first few holes go...

Three Ball Betting > Day 1...two stand out tough trio's are in play where we have Justin Rose / Ernie Els / David Toms & Rory Sabbatini  / John Senden / Stuart Appleby...these will be tough rounds although im expecting a Rose / Senden double , elsewhere i think Robert Allenby is a good thing , Bo Van Pelt looks strong and Keegan Bradley should have no trouble winning his 3 ball and is probably the Nap selection.

Leaderboard after Day 1 > BEN MARTIN ( after shooting a 62 and a 65 he then finishes with a 73 and a very disappointing 75.....)

Analysis > JUSTIN ROSE come home in T8 with an excellent -13 after shooting 71 , 65,67 and a final 68....must be a proper players track that one...some incredible scores being struck of 62 ( CR )  , 63 , 64 and multiple 65's.....South Korean Player Wins on -19....Did well on the 3 Ball betting tho.

The BYRON NELSON is our next Comp.....May 15th - 18th

Weekly , Kaymer and Hanson are my selections here.

RESULT : No Good as they faded away tamely..

HOORAH....we finally nail a decent winner as one our team to follow wins wd ADAM SCOTT....nice to get a win...and a VWD to Rory for a enthralling comeback and win at Wentworth...excellent stuff and with some pretty decent stuff coming up the next few weeks looks exciting...

Heres an almost complete list of the players i am backing and following...
