Friday Fumblings...

Well hello all and " Üdvözlünk az emberek hungary " after all the hurrahs from some spell binding wins on PTS this week we have dipped again with small  loss the following day but recovered today with a rather nothing of a £8.00 Profit but this was in part to one bet having an unmatched portion on a winning selection so i think this was more bad luck than poor choice so i am still evry happy with the way it is going.
Yesterday was a bit hit n miss, started off woefully as i did my balls in lumping max styleee on Cockney Sparrow which decided to as low a mark as it could and got bummed at 1.18...that was sick!..but i shudda seen it coming tbh...i digress i carried on as i do and within 4 races i was back safely in the profit zone and could relax and an odd but profitable day was had and 4 of us decided to hit the Max " Fun EW " Lucky 15 Trail again after such a good hit with Ricky's birthday special and again the master tipster SHIPPERS come up trumps with TAXIFORBYRON @ 6.2 but i have to say i think i had the trump card with my selection coming 2nd @ 75.80 ( 12.34 ) and only just got beat in the final strides....what a monster double that would of been if it could have held on!!..
Not forgetting the great days racing that was in Meydan this afternoon that resulted in a great win for Ger Lyons with Lillys Angel ( plum draw and bang on form, was a cracking bet ) a traditional 1-2-3 for the Dolphins a nice return run from Rerouted ( ex B Hills ) and a horse that IDK knows well from Spain which ran well coming 2nd ( seasons aim ) i do like thes arab festivals and i must admit its the only place i back blindly following Tag o Shite and P Dobbs and Tag had a nice winner in the Finale at 25/1 which i missed so was a bit annoyed with myself for that and i also missed backing Ackmed*in the Arab opener...too fecking busy but hey ho...
So we move into Friday and what do we have here? for starters there is what looks like a benefit day for Hendo at Huntingdon where My tent or Yours / Malt Master / Glorious Twelth look to give him and AP a nice wee treble although i do feel My Tent or Yours is the weak link  but its a modest affair and this could easily transpire.
Elsewhere we have some AW flat action at Lingfield and Wolverhampton with a few races to look at and some trades to decide upon but what where n when......im investigating now..... ( takes quick coffee break before resuming ).....
Having seen where our star Kirby is riding i feel we should cast a stat eye over Lingers.....

RACE 1 : Kirby rides Majuro here but in all honesty i just cant see how it can win here, Well behind Tarooq on literal and lateral form and worse off at the weights with Irish Heartbeat and with conditions against i just think it has far too much to do and is not worth considering and at a skinny looking 3.8 is a cast iron LAY for me and is the only bet i want in this race.
RESULT : Bet Caped due to non - runners - Still easily beaten lol - **
_____________________________________________________________
RACE 2 : This looks an incredibly tough Hcap Sprint and one true puzzle that not even the guys at Bletchley Park could solve..!!.
Speed Ratings ( mine )  have this between Pharoh Jake & Monumental Man.
Stats Say : Illustrious Lad or Monumental Man
I Say : Pharoah Jake or Monumental Man
So on the balance of probability if was having a go in this i would be on MONUMENTAL MAN with Sherjawy a cast iron Lay , yes it ran well lto but is too inconsistent to find he improvement required to beat these on form.

RESULT : Monumental Man - 1st @ 3.35
_____________________________________________________________
RACE 3 : A race that is all but name a NH Flat race and i think Kirby's HARLSTONE WOOD is a very good favourite in this   and will prove very hard to beat this will be one of my bigger bets today.

RESULT : 2nd @ 1.94 ( Just couldnt get up beaten maybe 1/4L )
_____________________________________________________________
......That will do for now......im off to the members enclosure ;)

Tough Thursday....

Hi and good evening one n all as you can see weds was another day full of success driven by the members motivating me to pull my finger out although it was a friend of mine " Shippers " that had todays best winner on our FB page a winner at 29.60...Fantastic stuff and it was another Phoenix Racing members birthday and he had a good betting day nailing quite a few winning bets and making a very healthy profit not so for my friend Trish who although given a winning NAP , a winning Treble and two winning trades failed to make any profit as she had a variety of blonde moments and forgot just about all of them !!...just cant help some folk ( lol )  but she is the newest member of PTS experimental and Winning Line and i look forward to helping her make consistent profits every month from here on in ;-) ( at least enough for another trip to Vegas ) .
Performance wise i felt OVERTURN was again very impressive , a superb jumper and an incredible athlete however as both a flat horse and a hurdler he was equally impressive until asked to do it against the very best now i know he has a good few victories to his name and has run and won some very very good races but will he be able to dominate like this in a top quality field against the likes of say ...Simonsig ? i very much doubt it , if they were cars in a touring car race you could say that Overturn is a Ford Focus RS , looks good, very nimble and very quick ...to a point where as Simonsig joins the party as a BMW M5 Alpina which is quicker and better in every department and although Overturn will go the pace for a while there will come a time when he starts to slowly fall away.....Overturn will win some big races but only when the " mega " stars are not playing....and on the Flat mark down BEAT ROUTE as a surefire winner in waiting , this was cruising today, coming round the bend went wide for a run horse in front checked , tried to go up inside and horse in front blocked that path eventually got out and went down in 3rd by a hd/hd.....this will be winning again for sure.
Usual hot pots and ones to watch are Kirby / Botti / PD Evans / Sanders ( more so at Wolverhampton ) and watch for any apparent " dogs " racing off a low weight after showing absolutely nothing and getting backed off the boards , big winner on Tues and Short Head 2nd today ( weds ) there are plots abound as some previously decent sorts have shown nothing and have tumbled down the weights and are picking up very weak races.
Thursdays absolute " Cert " has to be COCKNEY SPARROW ( Beaten at 1.18 into 2nd, ran shockingly ....oh dear...expensive start for me ) as only an act of god can stop this from winning here and if you have any spare cash and want some instant interest i suggest chucking it all on.
As for bets and race reviews...Lingfield or Wolverhampton...??...Well i see a few of the family favourite are running at Wolves so i may take a peek there....

WOLVERHAMPTON

RACE 1
A steady and reasonable 5f Hcap to start the card off and i will start of with Loyal Royal a frustrating sort but not without ability and owned by a friend Darren Hudson-Wood now this i would say is fairly impossible to predict but i will say i think it has a good win in him its just a case of when and is one of those lemming horse that when you back it once you must follow as it will eventually pop up at 33/1 and if you miss that you'll be searching for rope!!...so back n follow or leave and wait...thats the dilemma...Then we have Sallys Swansong a horse with 3 CD wins and the only time todays Jockey ( morris ) rode her was in a win over CD so 1/1 with the combo and is only 1lb higher than her last winning mark so is a solid EW bet.
But the one i like is ROSE GARNET ridden now by the magician Crowley ( instead of apprentice tate ) this has twice been just narrowly beaten and both times here after crossing the channel from Ireland and the 4lb wont make any difference as i feel this has quite a bit in hand just yet but this still isnt the one that will be getting my money even tho i think its has an outstanding chance and is the likeliest winner i will be having a punt on HAB REEH ( Having just checked the prices i may revise this , cannot believe its a 2.46 Fav when i have it marked down at 4.2 !!) ...anyway Tutty is riding this again instead of her preferred " goto " rider Sullivan ( who is having a first time ride for dore ) and the combo won a hands n heels race lto beating the useful Deveze by 2l and winning quite comfortably.....although i am miffed that its such a lousy price...i will be waiting until tmrw to make my final choice as i will wait and see what the market does...

SUMMARY : At this stage i think a PLACE ONLY bet on ROSE GARNET at 1.53 is the bet to make but i will wait until later to fully decide and will update accordingly......

RESULT :Rose Garnet 3rd and that will do for me ;-)

Hola ;-)

Good Morning world and how are we today? , im superb after having a tough ( ish ) couple of days with PTS we come good yesterday Hitting almost £900.00 profit which is the best day yet this was in part to having a double Banger in one and 2 solo's plus we had a few 1.3's hit  , after the tough Monday when everything went against us Tues was just about the complete opposite when everything went for us and i suppose there will be many more days of both ilk...but it is nice when it comes off and hopefully that can give us the well deserved lift we need to push on through the month now ;-).
And as most readers will have seen yesterdays Selection and Advice for Michael 009 was pretty much on the money so that pleased me greatly and i had a nice little touch with my EW Trixie with 2 winners at 4.5 & 4.0 and a 17.07 2nd so win/win all round ;-).
So what for today?..well Trish has a day of " homeworking " so i thought about a few trades for her at Lingfield.....

Trades for Lingers....

RACE 1 : Matched ( Miami Gator 2nd ) - Win

RACE 2: Matched ( hit 2.64 in running ) - Win

and this nice little treble which falls into your budget ;-)...

**And thats 3/3 on the short priced Treble..BoooooM ;-)

For Michael009 ;)

Today i shall as requested do a review for 3 races all at Wolverhampton and they are the 14:50, 16:25 & 17:25......Lets have a peek.....

RACE 1
14:50 Wolverhampton - What a poor race when Dhhamaan is the most consistent yet is utterly unreliable himself , the race it won lto was a bottom of the barrel race beating a 47 rated nag by 2L making all...that pretty much tells its own story , there are no other distance winners in this field and only won that has any relevant history at the track so opposition is again looking dire.On my speed ratings Coastal Passage even if running to its best probably has the best part of 3L to find along with the Veteran Kieltys Folly ( 2L to find ) , Son of May is slow and just looks like its not enjoying its racing , and then there is Essell who is interesting dropping back in trip again after running reasonably well in the main lto and could again sneak a place.
The remainder are just dire and i cannot see how they could possibly improve enough to trouble the judge.
SUMMARY :
I Cannot see past the 1.87 Fav DHHAMAAN but i would not back him either in such a low grade and unappealing race , the bet here for me is to Place Lay dutch both Kieltys Folly & Essell @ 1.67 & 1.79 as i feel Dhhamaan will def be placed leaving 4 horses to fight for 2 spots..this is where you can make your money.
WIN SELECTION: Dhhamaan
EW SELECTION : Coastal Passage

RESULT :
1st - Coastal Passage @ 4.55
2nd - Kieltys Folly
3rd - Flumps

Bet Advice was Good.
______________________________________________________________________________
RACE 2
16:25 - A maiden for the older types , these are possibly the hardest of all races to decipher as they are 4+ and still lightly raced and/or a maiden usually for a good reason , injury , lack of apparent ability , ?? ,...so you have to factor many things in when making a decision and you have to find a path to follow with these races.
He's No Angel is easily the most interesting runner owned by F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and cost £200,000 as a yearling and is wonderfully bred and is not actually a true 4yr old till the 26th of Jan....so technically he is for a couple of weeks still a 3 yr old ;-) and on that basis has to go on the short list.
Cape Crossing and Fly Haaf have almost identical ratings and i cant split the pair , both should come on for their respective last runs and both could and should be in the shake up, however both weakened quickly and neither run on so there are very vulnerable.
Harvest Mist and Fountain Girl have no chance so that leaves just Frontier Fighter and this ran well enough fto to suggest he could be winning races but at 1.91....no thanks not for me , it hasnt done anything to suggest its a nailed on fav which the market is saying and its speed rating is only marginally better than the 2nd and 3rd favs so again i will have to look elsewhere for a profit but where?...and tbh its a tough one, i would probably say at a pinch the Place Dutch BACK of Hes No Angel & Cape Crossing as this represents a better return than the place Lay of the top two but you can imagine either scenario happening , at this juncture i would probably wait to get some more market info as at 12.0 Hes No Angel could also be good for a trade ( 8.0 ).
SUMMARY : FRONTIER FIGHTER is bred for the job is from a family i like on the AW , has some fair recent and relevant form  is from a team i like and ridden by one of my stable jockeys so does in theory just about tick all my boxes and is in all honesty the most likely winner but is too short @ 1.91 on evidence and opposition for me to back.
WIN SELECTION : FRONTIER FIGHTER
EW SELECTION : CAPE CROSSING

RESULT :
1st = Frontier Fighter @ 1.94
2nd = Cape Crossing @ 17.70

Bet Advice was good as again we hit with the EW selection , The Place Dutch and the trade as Hes No Angel went off at 6.0...Triple Whammy ;-)
_______________________________________________________________________________
RACE 3
17:25 -A tricky Hcap for the finale but one that carries a red hot form favourite in Rosies Lady after winning twice here in the last 7 days over both CD and 1m4f but is now racing with over a stone more on her back and even with harts allowance is still quite high , but is improving has won well and will bang there again if taking part ( ran just yesterday ) however at 2.06 there is not a cat in hells chance i would back it, Even Money in a 13 runner hcap with at least 5 solid alternatives!..c'mon there is better value had here....actually now i have further developed my view on this race and have dug a bit deeper ( big gap between me writing which you can see ) i am struggling to find alternatives bar Kyllachykov which based on last winning CD performances is only a short head behind the fav  and is in form so the bet choice is a straight fight, Fav to WIN at 2.06 or Kyllachykov to PLACE at 2.08 and for me the place bet wins.
SUMMARY : Again and both disappointingly and rather frustratingly the FAV ROSIES LADY looks to be the one to be on but again it wont be attracting any money from me with only one other runner that looks a serious threat its hard to make a case for laying it either so i will be looking elsewhere for profits again...
WIN SELECTION : ROSIES LADY *17:24 hit a high pre race of 2.64 <<
EW SELECTION : KYLLACHYKOV *17:23 and this has been backed into 3.95 from 7.8 >>

RESULT :
1st = KYLLACHYKOV @ 4.00
Rosies Lady was Unplaced*

Booom 3/3 and the " FUN " EW Trixie i placed Returned a Profit of £192.27..Happy Days....didnt expect that ;-)...Bet Advice was again Good, Hope you made a few quid Michael!!.
_______________________________________________________________________________

So there we have it, 3 races and 3 favourites selected, rather predictable and not very inspiring i must admit but i can only work with the material at hand , the bet for these may well be a Treble on the three Favs?...looks a good bet, certainly solid , you can argue a case for laying all three using the martingale system and stopping when in profit ? or an EW Trixie / Round Robin and " hope " for some luck...tough races and not ones for me to get involved in , backing short priced favs that have either to prove their worth or have race conditions against them is not my scene regardless , for me to lump on a jolly it has to have EVERYTHING in its favour....whatever your play Michael, good luck..and i wish you well ;-)

Morning World...

Feck i feel tired today getting up at 5:30am is not good and imo is quite un-natural..;-P.....Late Nights n Early starts are not conducive to a good working day so i best sharpen up by 13:00 and get some focus.....
With such little or non existent feed back on the trade races i wont bother spending the hours putting them in so will leave them today or in fact until further notice as its not a lot of fun if nobody is interested, i do these all day on just about every race anyway and dont feel the personal need to detail every fact so i wont, the racing for cards is un inspiring so wont do any for a few days however the PTS races are coming thick n Fast at the minute so i will heavily focus on these , so probs until Sat this will be it unless there any requests...
TTFN X....;)

Quick Note to ALL Readers and Members..

Hi all , just a quick update, if anyone has tried to send me a message via the Friend Connect feature can you resend , i have only realised today that it is forwarding messages to an old unused email adress , i have now corrected this after Hema CN and RD sent messages , please try again , and RD please feel to ask for any advice, i will gladly help.

Early Sunday Post..

Yes folks as xmas is over and i detox my body its just another quiet Sat night in watching films and Tv and chatting, tonights film of choice was Taken 2 a cross between 24 and Skyfall and better than neither as it lacked a bit of substance and appeared rushed however it was good fun and an enjoyable 90 min romp , thought i may as well get a look early at Wolverhampton tmrw as i may well be playing tennis tmrw morning , my good friend Trish has started out on the path to trading Nirvana and im hoping that today i can be of some assistance in her quest for profits , the signs are good however as the last two " Stat " days have been both fun and rewarding so lets crack on n have a look....

WOLVERHAMPTON

RACE 1:
A very unappealing " hands n heels " apprentice race to start the day and this is not a race to bet heavily in but my EW selection goes to LORD BUFFHEAD who holds a few on current and recent form and has the up n coming Phil Prince taking the ride and currently at 6.4 i think this is a good price.
RESULT : WD @ 11:23

* Trish Rec* - Back at 6.4 and Lay at 4.6 - ( Profit of £85.59 or £23.77 Net ) - Non Runner -
________________________________________________________________

RACE 2:
Trappy Hcap with a few stat pointers, our man Winston rides for Mccabe aboard Follow The Flag but i just cant see it myself , i think its too high in the weights and will struggle to reverse form with Dakota Canyon which does have a very good chance today however i am going to row in EW with our other stat runner the Kirby ridden DAZZLING VALENTINE That is in form and has some good previous and is weighted to run to his best and i feel the current 10.0 is way too big as i have this at around 5.8 - 7.2 so im lumping on EW.
RESULT : Unplaced @ 6.40 ( hit 5.3 in running ) and easy profit as i got on the early prices ;-)

Trish Rec* - Back @ 10 & Lay at 8 ( £23.77 net profit ) - Hit
________________________________________________________________
RACE 3:
Another tight Hcap and another where the man of the moment Kirby has another strong looking ride in MR CHOCOLATE DROP and at 38.0 i simply cant resist ( hopefully bigger by tmrw morning ) this is the proverbial " bet to nothing "...
RESULT : Ran well but unplaced at 35.89 but hit an incredible 6.0 in running, super easy trade..dobs galore ;-)

Trish Rec* - Back at 38 and Lay at 26 - £23.77 or £546.82 - Hit
