selamat pagi ;-)
Hola , hello and G'day , more aches and pains to moan about , woke today to find my hand ( right ) or more specifically my knuckle section very sore and weak , it feels like ive spent the night playing peanuts with a ghost!!...
Some fairly decent racing about today with 3 day meets and 2 thru the early evening and their is also a very tasty looking card at Longchamp and my man in France has been on the blower telling me to look out for and follow 2 running in the 13:20 ,
1.Itasca - Led every step until weakening in last 200 yrds...
2.Romantica - 3rd @ 4.1 ran a very tidy race and should def be followed.
and 1 in the 13:50 ,
1.Gran Maestro -
These are proper blue bloods and are expected to be entered into the top group races thru the season obviously until they actually hit the race course you never really know as many a horse has failed the hype test but IDK has shown a very healthy profit every year and i always follow.
In the UK i will be posting a card up on PRP and that will be for Mussel'h along with todays DBB's , For my Regular readers i like the look of ,
1.SLATEY HEN ( EW ) - Ran no sort of race as it was hung out back and the front runners had it , like they do at Lingers..Fecking Idiots!!...the race was ridic, very poor rides.
14:10 Lingfield : Back over the CD it last won at for the first time since that win and in a very modest looking race i would like to think they will try and make all as it has easily the best speed figures and could easily burn these off if getting an easy lead , currently 4.3 i think this is a rock solid EW bet.
2.BIG WAVE ( LOTD ) - 2nd @ 2.56 ( Win )
14:40 Lingfield : Won very easily LTO but it was in a slow time ( albeit on poor ground ) has raced on the AW but at Wton and that was a poor effort then ran 3rd in a very poor looking contest in which the 1/3f was 4th and again ran prominently until fading , so far this 2.54 Fav has shown it has some ability but is still a fair way behind a couple of others , has to prove it can handle the surface and will have to improve further to get the better of these , personally i think its just a very average sort which will struggle to find a suitable grade to race at.
If any of you guys ( or indeed gals ) would like a race review or an opinion on any specific race then by all means please get in touch and i shall try my best.
Our facebook page is now fully open to all presently so feel free to drop in and say hi ;-).
Really looking to watching the New Avengers Movie , everyone ive spoke to has said its incred so it looks like a trip to the flix is in order .
i would like to post something up on a more regular basis for you guys to follow , best bets, race cards , naps?....let me know what your most interested in and i will try and make it a regular feature , may even bring back the daily Yankeeyou...;-) ( Sic* HCE ).
And i would also be interested in knowing what attracts my readers from the USA ( council bluffs , IOWA ) as a few regulars keep dropping by without ever saying anything?..are they confusing me with Phoenix Racing Nascar ;-?...Then we have Fosses Picardie , Salzburg , St Peter Port among others that questionably silent...? , cmon say hi.
The COMP line up is currently ,
Me , HCE , Mark Stockoe ( friend of Jason @ HCE ) , Tracey ( EPDS RACING ) , Shuky which only makes 5, can we get another 5 and actually make this work??...
And AVERAGE GUY i do actually use Srixion Balls and i am a full 28 Hcapper and i dont suffer with slice or hook , in fact i make most greens in regulation , my single biggest failing is my Putting , my last 18 hole round was done in 102 but i had 42 strokes as putts!!! , thats 2 or 3 putting every hole if i could get that down to 30 i would consider that a major achievement ;-)...

Good Morning ;-)
Morning All , awoke today still in pain! , On Monday i fitted the living room out with some new wood flooring and yesterday my legs or more pertinently the back of my legs were completely fucked and i could barely walk! cannot believe that 2 days later they are still stiff!! can only presume the cause was due to me being on my Knees for 6 hours has knotted up some muscles that have not experienced recently such intense use ;-@...Will probably go out for some Tennis now which is not the wisest thing i can do but as its Sledges only day off this week i will go thru the pain barrier for him and allow him to humiliate me for an hour ;-)
Racing wise , yesterday was good , got of to a flyer with the first 2 DBB's coming in for some nice profits and the race card for Yarmouth threw up enough winners to make it profitable ( all to advised staking ) so all in all a very pleasing start as we gear up for the Guineas.
Today we have our first fully rated speed race , the 14:00 @ Kempton , Here are the results...
1.BADDALINI -
SR = 1.01 = 4*
GR = 2
CO = 3
*+10YDS
Total = 9
2.CHILWORTH ICON -
SR = 1.04 = 3.5*
GR = 3.5
CO = 3
*+11YDS
Total = 10
3.LYRIC ACE - 1st @ 1.81
SR = 1.04 = 3.5*
GR = 4
CO = 3
*+2YDS
Total = 10.5
4.MOSSGO -
SR = 1.06 = 2.5
GR = 3.5
CO = 3
Total = 9
So there you have it..LYRIC ACE is the Winner ;-)
......Just back from Tennis and what a work out!! , great Play from Sledge and terrific serving today but i must say even with my dodgy legs i didnt go down with out a fight losing 6-8 , 3-6 in some glorious sun!..wd and wp mate see ya Sunday for some beers ;-)).
Re: the above race ( Lyric Ace ) as you can see they are very closely matched although i would say at this point Mossgo is the least likeliest to win and is quite obviously the slowest so far even allowing for the different ground conditions i would say that is a place lay as Baddalini has show terrific speed and will make Lyric Ace fight all the way and you cannot discount Chilworth Icon as it core speed rating is actually just better than Lyric Ace , should be a very good small field race.
There will be NO PRP bets or race cards today due to lack of time.
we have 5 confirmed for the competition now so just need another 5 and we can get it started , c'mon boys n girls have a go!!.
Right thats it for today , time for a bath then stick my trading hat on..ttfn x .

Finally....
The Sun has returned!!...i dont know for how long but its a welcome return as its been a lovely morning and ive spent it sat in my back Yard soaking it all up ;-).
Had a Lazy day yesterday after getting completely wankered with Sledge ...
The same Sledge that after being without any female attention in his life for some considerable time finally hooked up with old friend Sarah a few weeks back decided to rather drunkenly stagger into Kans ( local after hours shit hole ) and do some tonsil bashing with another old flame...only for Sarahs Friend to come over mid grope and " enquire " as to what was going on and who is the friend ??....PMSL!!....only fecking Sledge , true Legend in waiting ...awaiting texts to confirm his bachelor status once again....
Today is another damp squib racing wise as the ground is as wet as......( appropriate gag )....
So it looks like Chantilly and Kempton today with some Wolverhampton action tonight and that is as unappealing as it sounds , so i will be making a start today on fitting the new wood flooring ;-), which should be fun...not!! , although i will be having a little dabble just for fun today , two that i like today are Mutaafakir and Fluctuate i will have these in a win double and if the first gets beat i shall compound it into the 2nd...and thats it for me really today and the picture for the week is not that good either as most courses nationwide are suffering , so we will just have to play it by ear.#
New P n L start for tmrw tho and will be starting to post and track on PRP from tmrw and will be using a predefined staking plan all will be revealed for tmrw .
Very disappointed that more people didnt or havent taken part in the new comp to start from tmrw ;-(....so im done with that tbh , we try and do comps and arrange fun games into our lifes but no one cares so..i will show the same lack of interest also.
Anyway that will do for today , hopefully back to normal from tmrw......Then Again.....?

Finally ...Some Light Shines Thru...
Well Morning One n All , its been a tough ol' week , starting to slowly rise for the gloom and as i do the mind starts to work with some clarification and purpose , i think going to Spain to see my Ma' is going to help ( or maybe the 80° Sun ) either way hopefully im thru the toughest part.
Im quite glad i got the Broadband installed at my Ma's now as i think its going to be quite useful ;-) , haven't decided how long im going to stay for yet , maybe a week ? , maybe 2 months ?...
As the rains ( in some areas ) finally withdraw for a bit ( more on way tho' ) we may get a full card in today although i think i may give P'town a miss after seeing this race yesterday....^^^
So what shall we look at today ? , well i think the mixed card at Sandown is very much a go as i feel this is one of the hardest Tracks to run in the UK , why ? , well because of the final bend and long run in i feel this course sorts the wheat from the chaff and if your good enough you will win , there should never be any hard luck stories here and it is a course i hold dear as many moons ago during their late summer evening card they hold the Brigadier Gerard Stakes and that was an occasion when i won an amazing amount ( for me at the time anyway ) and as such has always burned brightly within...So today we shall again roll on with Sandown...
RACE 1
BACK - SADDLERS RISK - 2nd @ 9.51
EW - LEXIS BOY - 1st @ 13.5
OUTSIDER - SONGSMITH -
*Saddlers Risk has shown he is not quite Class 1 but he is only a smidge below that level and a fair bit better than most if not all Class 2's....Saddlers deserves a change of fortunes after putting in some spirited performances in the bigger races and against the very best , there are no Grumeti's in this race and i simply cannot believe the price @ 7.6 !!...MAX WIN ( with place lay cover ) , this i feel will either demolish these hard on the steel or Pull Up if things dont pan out, i dont see this as an EW bet as imo it either wins or totally fails.
*Hmmm...Did ok in the race after trading out Saddlers @ 3.0 , lost on the Place Lay but won well with Lexi's Boy...Good Start.

RACE 2
BACK - TOUR D'ARGENT - ( Stablemate Won!...More rubbish Inf from Hendo Jnr lol )...
EW - BIG EASY - 4th @ 12.7
OUTSIDER - HELLFIRE CLUB - ( Went off @ 42.0 , ran really well hitting 6.40 before weakening at the end, good trade )
*IDK is convinced there is a big win to come from Hellfire Club so im gonna have to stick with it and try again even @ 38.0.....another EW punt , i will also be dutching the top two to try and make a profit if the inevitable happens...*Again Did ok , made a small profit thru trading and got some decent runs from the selections )

RACE 3
BACK - FRENCH OPERA -
EW - SOMERSBY - 2nd @ 3.85
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*WISHFUL THINKING has to be my LOTD , such an inconsistent sort whose recent run reads better than it looked , still a shade high at 4.4 for me to really get stuck in , i will instead be monitoring the markets and will probably end up having an in running LAY set at 3.0 / 2.92 ...i may end yet having this as a BTL ..time will tell...IF French Opera can sort its jumping out it will be game over for the rest..but its a weighty IF?!.* Wishful Thinking was UNPLACED.

RACE 4
BACK - ALDERTUNE -
EW - WEST END ROCKER -
OUTSIDER - DEEP PURPLE -
*Tough race and again we would like to see a half decent run from Free World but @ 170.0 i think maybe even thats a big ask , maybe a trade , yeah may have a nibble " just in case " , West end Rocker was my National Pick but fell at the start so i will be hoping this is his compensation race and Aldertune is due a nice win and rarely runs a poor race.
_________________________________________________
RACE 5
BACK - POET -
EW - TWICE OVER -
OUTSIDER - WORLD DOMINATION -
*I would love to see World Domination win and win well but i feel that after its amazing Maiden win it has nothing left , then again it has been racing against the best so maybe a break and a rest have done it good , lets hope so, twice over ran its usual game, gutsy race lto and is sure to be there but im hoping a big run from the mudlark Poet can see him get the win he is entitled to , his form over CD when 2nd in the Brigadier Gerard Stakes to Workforce gives him every chance.
_________________________________________________
RACE 6
BACK - STIPULATE -
EW - ROUGEMONT -
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*Probably the Dutch of the Day.
_________________________________________________
RACE 7
BACK - ROBEMAKER - ( PLACE NAP ) -
EW -TULLIUS -
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*
_________________________________________________
RACE 8
BACK - BARWICK -
EW - FLIPPING -
OUTSIDER - SPA DANCER -
*
