...Well for me it is....Got absolutely blitzed last night , was ok and holding my own till some Orish friends started buying me Tequila Slammers......Jeez , what a headache today, mega massive hangover, not been like this in years, its half one and im still pissed....Lordy bee, taken the requisite Paracetamol, but still feeling weak and dizzy....cant even remember getting home.....
So i am Gonna goto sleep by the pool and maybe have a swim or two.....but i have just layed one horse today, in the 14-05 Newmarket - TAQLEED- £250 @ BFSP , this will not be winning this or any other race anytime soon....Its shot to pieces....

Place Laying Experiment

Right lets see what we can get back following this line of thought.....Either its just me and my rotten luck or there really is something in this...Lets see....

Theses are the qualifying races and all bets will be £100 place lays ( at ave odds or bfsp ) and £35 win singles...= £135 total stake ( ave place lay odds shud only be around 2.5 ), i will make all adjustments post race when i put results in and PnL..All of these bets will come from the blog roll and will qualify towards totals...

Brighton 15-00 Desert Falls - Result = Unplaced = Won £65

Brighton 16-00 Songsmith - Result = 1st @ 3.17 = Won £76 , ( lost £38 0n the place ) = Won £38

Brighton 16-30 Salvationist  - Result = Unplaced = Won £65 

Brighton 17-30 Professor John  - Result = Unplaced = Won £65

Lingfield 15-10 Flying Power - Result  = 2nd = Lost £177

Lingfield 16-10 Quite a thing - Result = 1st @ 2.0 = Won £70 ( Lost £36 0n the place ) = Won £34

That'll do for now.....see how we get on, if it starts getting expensive i will have to reconsider....i dont advise following these as im using a BETA system for selections....

**Ok quite a decent start to procedings, managed to work a small profit up off £90-00
so cant really grumble, i will look out for the qualifying races and try again tmrw...May even look at readjusting the staking slightly, 5/6 winning races is not a bad result....Thoughts anyone on this??

And welcome BFEXPLORER ;-) , Firstly let me start by saying yesterday i made a huge mistake, a unquantifiable error of judgement, and its nothing to do with trading or laying or anything like that, in fact this mistake was a purely greed induced jelly error....and i say jelly error as that is exactly what it was....
Went to the market last weekend and whilst i was there i purchased some sweets of a mixed variety from one of the local vendors, no problemo, partial to a bit of candy every now and then, however , and im not sure if u will know what type of sweet i am referring to , but basically , in the uk i get a jelly mix , and in this jelly mix is what can only be described as a pair of cherries connected by a small stork..., very tasty imo, i thought i had bought these and whilst watching some telly yesterday evening i popped a couple out and starting chewing.....then i realised they looked a bit like chillies.......then OFMG!!!!!!!!!!!!, i thought my motherfucking head was going to explode!!!!!!!!, these fuckers were actually jellified chillies, and very hot ones at that , i cannot possibly explain just how hot these were, but i have had vindaloo's, and super hot con carne's before...but these , well , were quite simply frightening......be warned unless your insane, do not eat these at any cost!!.
Moving on to the days racing , The evening cards look a lot better than the day ones..., however i need my fix and im off to the beach shortly , if we do ok during the day we'll leave it , if we do shit, well then we'll get stuck into the eve cards....and i do have a couple of tasty tips for tipperary this eve so d'nada ;-)

*Incred how often this happens, the stats are huge yet i still keep ignoring them, short field place lays and my selection / and / or outsider wins , very very rarely ever second either 1st or unplaced, so i am now in future going to cover myself when i place these type of bets by having some win cover = to a 33% profit....will work these out individually.....im gonna experiment with these tonight......

Brighton 15-00 - Deerslayer - Back for £300 @ 2.86 , and £150 @ 3.25  ( keep bet ) and have a LAY set at £380 @ 2.1 and £150 @ 1.51 ( if the 3.25 gets matched ) - Result = Deerslayer 1st = Won £357.12 ( all bets matched, all losses deducted )

Brighton 15-30 - Dutch Back in the PLACE market - Clear Ice and Spanish Acclaim - £200 Each @ 3.0 each ( keep bets ) - ALSO , LAYING - Katmai River for £250 @ bfsp ( lotd ) - Result = Clear Ice 1st = Won £200, Katmai River was Unplaced= Won £250 , Total Winnings = £450

Brighton 16-00 - Backing Fluctuation in the place market , considering the withdrawls looks an absolute banker , is this going to be easier than printing money????...i'll chance £300 @ 1.25 to find out....
Result = Unfuckingplaced...= Lost £300,..if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.....really shouldnt have spunked £300 off on this, but however i did...still made a profit on the day....

Well 1/2 that was not great , another loss, been finding far too many winners lately, and its having a depletion effect on my roll, that is now 32/37....those five winners at baverage odds of 4/1 have meant that im not that far ahead now....still ahead nonetheless, but just not far enough, not by a long way......so im gonna try for 3 more this evening....

Think that on breeding this trip should be too short and there are others in this race with far better credentials, will be one of those maidens where the best horse doesntn win....

Sandown 18-10 - Upper Lambourn - Lay - £150 - Result = Unplaced = Won £150

Tricky little race where i feel turf racing experience could prove invaluable, i think there is nothing to between these three, however with so , little experience , this is my lay.....

I would like to give you more for this evening as i have struck a total of 17 seperate bets, but these two will do for now...

Great Ending to the day, shame i keep finding the odd winner here and there...but i spoze its impossible to expect 100% all the time, but we now nicely in front and levels on the day, that takes us to 4/5 on the day and 33/37 overall , not great but not too bad either....Righto beer time , chow 4 now ;-)

So got 6/8 today with a tez result on my Lotd, fucking Mark Johnston , never gonna lay one of his with SDS riding, his stable is bent as a five bob note, fucking cheats they are... Grrrr.
So lost around £350 today and that's a nice round figure to use , fucking gutted tbh,.... Eraada , fuck right off!!!!,after this loss today it's back to two a day from weds....gotta rebuild a little, still up on 27/31, but I have lapsed a little lately, maybe the stress of doing it from Spain is starting to show??, what ever the reason I have to start pulling me finger out....if anyone is following, sorry for the piss poor performance....
