Top o the Morning to ya!...

Lets start today with a talk about the weather , its sunny and in fact when the suns out its actually quite nice, warm and pleasant however the wind..fuck me its like its been cut from blocks of ice and put thru a shredder...its like ice , im not exaggerating the wind is directly from the artic!! so i go outside and im instantly confused as my face is feeling the soothing heat of the sun one minute and the incomprehensible cold of the wind the next...crazy imo...
Been thinking about starting a " Phoenix racing " Facebook page , this could be used to post upto the minute bets , strategies , and thoughts and we could start a few troll posts and have the odd rant ( mainly about bad rides etc ) , what do you guys think about this?...if you think its a good idea i'll start it otherwise i shall not ( pointless if nobody is going to use it )......input needed!!!

On the racing front its a pretty std day with just the one flat meeting and a couple of nh cards ( some orish and a bit of eve ) , nothing flash today so i will post up the AYR card...

BACK - NEVER PERFECT - 1st @ 1.44
LAY - SILVER BLAZE IS A NON RUNNER -
EW - JOSHUA THE FIRST - Unplaced
**DATA RACE - ( NB )
***DUE TO THE NON RUNNER THE RACE MAKE UP HAS CHANGED AND THE FAV IS NOW A BACK AND NOT A LAY.

14:40

BACK - SINAI - Unplaced
LAY - FAST ON - £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - BLUE SHOES - Unplaced
**Fast on is a confident lay as he doesnt stay a well run 6f race , the winner is harder to be confident about , my speed ratings have very little to choose between 5 of these , i think the key today will be the ground , and on that basis these have been selected.

15:10

BACK - CHOOKIE AVON - Unplaced
LAY - TADALAVIL - 3rd @ 9.31
EW - MARC ANTHONY - 2nd @ 19.99
**This is a tough and shite race , Chookie Avon is somewhat of an enigma , has raced over 2m , done all its best work over 7f , NEVER BEEN PLACED OR WON at anything other than 7f yet it looks a steal here as it is a confirmed lover of soft or worse ground...that tells you all you need to know about this race....Personally i think 1.74 for a place is a gift , however i will not be getting involved in this race( i will look to be getting involved in running )...

BACK - COOL IN THE SHADE ( 1 ) -
LAY - BLACK ANNIS BOWER £250 @ BFSP -
EW - SURELY THIS TIME -
**For me this is a 2 horse race , i cannot envisage anything other than cool in the shade or surely this time winning , i think a dutch on those two is nailed on.

16:10

BACK - FLIPPING ( 2 ) -
LAY - ULLSWATER £250 @ BFSP -
EW - COBO BAY -
**Flipping @ 8.8 looks massive and shud be gobbled up asap..i think this is an outstanding EW bet today , loves the trip , loves the ground , ticks in all the right boxes..lump on i say!, Ulswater doesn't stay and wont like the testing conditions so lay that for whatever your back stake is plus 50%.

BACK - BOTHAM -
LAY - MIGHTY CLARETS -
EW - MARKET PUZZLE -
**No lay bet here for me , however i have had a rather large punt dutching both botham and market puzzle in the place market , i think this is absolutely nailed on and is my bet of the day , yes you are only making between 12-18% on your stake but in my view its free money , this bet will land and will look after like the easiest earner in a long time ( since the arc last sunday ;-) ) .

Quick update on the 365 Challenge..

As you may be aware i have been using my spare winnings to try and aggressively spin this ( the blog bets ) from £5k into £250k in 365 days ( hence the challenge ) , its fair to say at the start i was fucking about with the bets , doing some crazy dutches, and placing bets i really shunt have , however as the blog has shown i have steadied the ship by using a lite version or format of what i use on the pro site and with this the profits have come , i had to take a more professional approach to this as i was dripping money left right and centre gambling my arse off and treating it and my money with total disrespect!! , but this has changed and the hardest thing to achieve was the initial breaking of the £10k barrier , this has now been breached ( now on about £15k ) , when the bank reaches £20 the stake will increase upto £500 a lay...so thats the next target , for now i am very happy as last week i had my first ever all blue week...

DAY 85 - £890-00
DAY 86 - £150-00
DAY 87 - £300-00
DAY 88 - £300-00
DAY 89 - £332-00
DAY 90 - £454-00
DAY 91 - £500-00

TOTAL FOR THIS 7 DAYS = £2926-00                           RUNNING TOTAL = £12576.01
_______________________________________________________________
**My first ever all BLUE  Week!!..taking us well over the £10k mark and now we are full steam ahead!!!
_______________________________________________________________

This is for me quite an achievement as usually for all the good work i do i usually fuck up somewhere or some lay finds a miracle runs and knocks all my profits out...but last week it all went my way for a change , this week we have already had a slight red but that was outweighed by the biggest ever single winning day ( £2.5k+) so it wasnt a problem....lets hope it all keeps going the right way...i may be able to retire sooner rather than later!!

Fuming..abs Fuming....!!

Let me make it quite clear from the outset , regardless of how i come across at times i am not a racist , xenophobe , a gayist or any other type of ist or obe , what i am however is someone that just likes all things right , for people to just be fucking normal , not cunts  , for all things to be fair , to not be nanny handed thru my life , and not having some fucktard ruining my country!!..
The reason for this early dire tribe is this...
In May 2010 Tohseef Shah spray painted a British War Memorial with "islam will dominate osama is coming" he was fined £50 & walked free from court. In November 2010, Emdadur Choudhury burned a Poppy during the 2mins silence. He too was given a fine, £500 and walked free from court. Today, ....2 men have been sentenced to 12 months in prison for spray painting a Poppy on a mosque...
.. How in the name of all things right and just is this right? , for fucks sake, the liberal do gooder cunts dont want to upset the racial equalities team and this sentence has been passed to make us look pro muslim , well fuck that and fuck them , free them fuckers now!! , make em clean it up , fine em , and send em on their way...this is ludicrous!!, i cannot even begin to tell ya how much my fucking blood is boiling right now!!....what is happening to this once great and proud country!!?.-multi-culturism  ..shove it up your arse!
____________________________________________________________

So much is wrong with this world ..humans!!.....how did we get this far?...right moving on , lets talk horses , lets talk yesterday , started great , middle order collapse , night watchmen were superb!!...the rate of winners is rather good imo!?.
The line between back selection and lay selection is sometimes very thin as they are derived using the same formulae , that i think is why i do hit quite a few placed horses and 1 or 2 too many winners , yesterday if i had used every selection and combined them in 7 folds ( easy to say after, but ofc this is purely theoretical ) the total nos of bets would have been  52,168 but would have paid out at odds of 459,000 / 1 , so quite a healthy profit lol!! , obv hitting that 16.11 winner boosts it all up , but one can still dream ;-)) , ..what shall we do today??..

I think we shud look at Nottingham today...
and i dont expect another day like yesterday , those days are 1/100 days....

NOTTINGHAM

14:00
BACK - GUAVA - 1st @ 14.48
LAY - IM A DOUGHNUT - £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - SWEET OVATION - Unplaced
**Sweet Ovation will appreciate the return to a firmer surface and is expected to run a big race , a run similar to her win 2 races ago would suffice here , the same type of comment can be applied to Guava who could run all over these if running as well as she can but he is such an in and out performer i couldnt put my faith into a placing a bet on her.
Im a doughnut is only moderate and the fallon factor will make this go off shorter than it ought ta ( rhymes ;-).
**Brilliant start!

LAY - LUCKY HENRY - £250 @ 2.66 -* ( set a back trade for £175 @ 3.4 ) - 1st = Won £19-00
EW - TIOMAN PEARL - Unplaced
**Lucky Henry is far too short 2.66 in a race where all seven could win or have the potential to win...ludicrous price.
**Trade set @ 14:57

15:30

BACK - POETIC POWER - Unplaced

Not a lot of bets today as i have tweaked a few things a to a certain extent this can be classed as an experimental card , we will just have to see how today pans out , but i have included a lot of todays selections in a nos of multiples ( not being paid for by me but my Australian backer and mentalist gambler )..hopefully i will be blogging from Sham el Sheik tmrw ;-)

Cold is back...

Yeah the mini heat wave is over for sure , back to shivering and dressing up...roll on april.....!!.
I really do hate the cold and miserable weather we seem to get so much of ;-( .
Yesterday was a good day racing wise although the blog took a back end battering after such a scoopalicious start , but some days thats just the way it goes , what is impossible is to win every race , everyday , thats just a ludicrous thought , however what is possible is to make a constant and consistent profit day in day out , week in and week out , thats the key to all forms of punting , staying ahead ,  unless your a weekend punter larging your bets up with ridic £5 lucky 15's etc in the hope of that one big payday....
Well as we all know the Official Flat season is not far from ending with the nights drawing in , nh kicking in its time we started to concentrate on the AW fixtures , each course has its own personality , it acts seperate from each other and in some cases the surface is different , so the form at southwell may not be relevant exclusively at wolverhampton etc...CD is quite often a critical factor as is the draw and are they front runners....a lot of different factors have to be weighed in , much like turf , and also as with the turf some jockeys do better than some at the differing tracks.
Question for AL, PK , Boom and anyone else that reads and punts , thinking ahead for the next few months is there any specific area you want concentrating on , any meetings? , any bet types ? ....let me help you , ...

For today and along with the theme of the blog i shall be posting up the Southwell card...

SOUTHWELL

Draw Advantage:
5f None, 6f Low best.
Flat and National Hunt. The flat action predominantly takes place on an all-weather Fibresand track that is left-handed, level and about ten furlongs in circumference. There is a straight five furlongs course. Occasionally flat racing takes to the turf track, which runs on the inside of the all-weather circuit, and has a similar layout. National Hunt racing is also held on this grass course, where there is a run-in from the last obstacle of 220 yards.
The Fibresand track was relaid in the summer of 2000 and is now a very consistent racing surface, that tends to ride a little slower and more testing than the other Fibresand courses.

BACK - MANDERSTON - Unplaced
LAY - ABSOLUTE FUN £250 @ 7.6 - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - VOCIFEROUS - 1st @ 6.0
**What a tough piece of shit this is to start the day , the lay im happy with , however the winner , well thats a puzzle in a puzzle and not even a lucky pin can help here , so based on all my data and all known speed form ratings available to me i have decided to plump for the two " always trying " from the MJ yard with manderston just coming out on top.

14:50 ( no bet race )

BACK - BY INVITATION - 3rd @ 2.54
LAY - HURRIYA - Unplaced
EW - SCROOBY DOO - 1st @ 5.50
**This is effectively a 3 horse race ( subtle knife will need further on breeding ) , The boys in blue have an excellent record here and Hurriya could easily be good enough to win here however i feel that BY INVITATION has enough form in the book ( and experience ) that on this occasion could show to be slightly better today , was unlucky last time when short for room , found a run and gave up when the moment had passed , scrooby doo should be good enough to earn some place money and thats that.

____________________________________________________________

15:20

BACK - ASTROLIBRA - Unplaced
LAY - ILLUSTRATION £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - MASTER OF SONG - 1st @ 6.62
**Another pickle to ponder over , astrolibra is no star but can race effectively from anywhere between 1m-2m ( flat and jumps ) and with fitness assured i feel that Buick will try and run the legs of what remains a very poor bunch with only master of song showing any real form that however is mostly over 1m ( where he has weakened significantly in final stages , this is 1m4f ) .

____________________________________________________________

15:50

BACK - SWEET LAVANDER - £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Lost £250
LAY - DERAASA £250 @ BFSP - 1st @ 5.0 = Lost £1000
EW - EYEDORO - 2nd @ 2.91
**I think this is nailed on , already beaten its stablemate comfortably as eyedoro has beaten the other runner , this therefore on all known form is a 2 horse race and there is no known reason why the form should be reversed.
** There ya go..another rick in the ratings.....and another unwanted loss!!...
____________________________________________________________

16:20

BACK - SUDDENLY SUSAN - 3rd @ 7.8
LAY - GOOD TIMIN £250 @ 4.6 ( KEEP BET ) - unplaced ( bet unmatched )
EW - WINNING DRAW - unplaced
**Rough ol claimer ( usual for these meets ) just gone with the stats/data and the cd form available...no real confidence behind either tbh , suddenly susan @ 5.9 is worth a nibble ew.

____________________________________________________________

16:50

BACK - ZARIUS - unplaced
LAY - IL BATTISTA £500 @ 4.4 ( with a back trade set , £250 @ 7.2 ) - 1st ( all matched ) = LOST £150
EW - APRIL FOOL - unplaced
**I really like both AF and Zarius here and feel both back here can run big races , i will probs ew dutch both.

____________________________________________________________

17:20

BACK - EASTERN HILLS - 1ST @ 16.11
LAY - BEECHCROFT BARON - £500 @ 2.4 ( trade set £250 @ 4.2 ) - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - ELUSIVE WARRIOR - 3rd @ 16.68
**I feel Beechcroft baron is far too short here ( 2.4 ) yes it has 2 pieces of decent course form but its overall profile is rather doggish and i would much rather have the field against it , this is one of those lays that you have to max on and just suck it up if it goes wrong, value wise its a gimme...
***Finally something good this afternoon, i thought for a moment we was going down the same road as yesterday with a great start and a horrid finish , after the mid afternoon collapse i had a decent punt on eastern hills and a saver on the 3rd so i have made a nice bit from this race , shame i dint post this on blog as this would have made the blogs figures a lot better, but hey ho...!!
____________________________________________________________

17:50

BACK - RIFELSSIONE - **£250 - 1st @ 4.14 = WON £780-00
LAY - GALA SPIRIT £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - PORTGWIDDEN BEACH - Unplaced
**Tough un for the getting out stakes , if im down i will level stakes take the lay and back rifelssione as it really shud be too good for these today , sprinters in form are worth following and even more so when they are in races as shite as this.

____________________________________________________________

P n L = £380-00 Profit
____________________________________________________________

Analysis : A very tough card , albeit typical for the aw and the kind of cards you should be gearing towards as winter approaches....
____________________________________________________________
***After a very unusual mid afternoon ( twice now ) collapse i came storming back with two great winners to finish the day with a profit , i would obv much prefer to just sail thru each and every day but sometimes this just isnt possible , but again look at the positives!!...ew bets hit the first three winners with an additional 2 places giving a return in 5/8 races and the speed ratings hitting those last two with one at 16+ also secures another very nice profit!!...shall i facebook that fact im doing well like all the other wankers...nah will i fuck!! , i just my readers are backing the winners and leaving the losers ( or at least making a profit )....days like today can strain the nerves but you just have to keep the faith , keep doing what works and never falter when the bad times arrive, its all about the long term...goodnight folks, cya tmrw....

Monday, 3 October 2011

Fortunately ....

For me anyway i swerved the beheading and decided to watch "drive" thinking that a high octane film would remove all thoughts of the prick above.....
However what i did not expect was a moody , well acted , superbly directed slow cooked almost film noir experience , very little content but so well made that it was great and well worth the watch , my only gripe  , and its not just with this film but with so many is why do they always short change us on the endings??....
Arsenal again tragically lost again at the weekend to the not so mighty Yids , we were poor again , weak at the back , short on ideas in the middle and slow up front...chamakh is the new bendtner , gervinho is just nothing , van persie wishes he was Bergkamp , walcott is just a runner , rosicky is now roshitty , arshavin more like arshole , per metsacker...per ballsacker , slow and ponderous....mid table oblivion beckons ( if we are lucky ) .
__________________________________________________________

I was going to go into a venomous rage today about so many things but my furnace has somewhat cooled for now , wont last long , every day this country does something to make my blood boil...

On the racing front , im quite pleased to see some flat shizzle today , although i had a fantastic weekend culminating in a massive treble at longchamp and a whole of bank lay on " so you think " ( advised ) , so all in all one is a very happy bunny ;-)

So today i think i will just post up the clip notes for Pontefract , a demanding course for 2yr olds with a steep rising finish...

PONTEFRACT

14-10
BACK - CHERRY STREET - Bet Described below - 1st @ 4.7 = Won £344
LAY - HUMUNGOSAUR - No Lay - 3rd @ 2.32
EW - SIR GRAHAM WADE - 2nd @ 4.49
**Tough decision in the first as humungosaur has easily the best form on offer with its listed race 3rd ( in france ) however that was over 1m , this is 1m2f  with a steep climb to the line for a 2yr old this takes some getting and there is no way on gods earth i would ever back a horse in a maiden at odds on over this trip and especially here , that said i cant lay it either even tho every inch of me screaming to do so!! , i think the 1.44 for cherry street to be placed is a better bet than the 1.93 for humungosaur to win but even that is not particularly attractive , so do i have a nibble on sir graham wade? with the mighty sds on board ( one for AL then ) ? , no probably not, what i will be doing is this....
£500 @ 5.3 to win on cherry street with a lay set at 3.8 for £600 ( this returns £95 all bar £494 on CS ) with another lay set at 2.5 for £150 ( this now returns £320 or £344 ).....
***Won easy and stamina showed today.
____________________________________________________________

14-40

BACK - MINCE - 1st @ 3.55
LAY - ROYAL TRIX - £250 @ BFSP - Unplaced = Won £250
EW - SEE CLEARLY - 2nd @ 26.11
**As far as nurseries go this is quite a toughie with only a few looking likely to be sub 1m13s runners , my speed ratings have mince and although there is a fair amount of improvement expected i am not so sure , royal minx has been weakening badly over 5f so this stiff 6f will def not be for him , however see clearly for me is one horse that has winning form has looked like a battler and at decent odds is well worth a speculative punt.

____________________________________________________________

15-10

BACK - CRUISER - £250 @ 4.3 ( lay set @ 2.1 for £250 ) - Unplaced = Lost £250 ( unmatched )
LAY - DIVERTING - £250 @ 4.3 ( back bet set £125 @ 6.0 )  BFSP - 1st = LOST £200 ( All bets matched )
EW - CROWN COUNSEL - 3rd @ 6.2
**With diverting now 24lb higher than starting her winning sequence i feel it is only right and just that we take her on , and today should finally be cruisers day , never runs a bad race but has looked a bit of a dog at times , this stiff finish will suit and i feel this could be her day , crown counsel is worth noting as it has been running in quality races and holding her own , i expect a good run from this today.
**Cruiser run like i kinda expected , came stone last and is on the full dog list now.
____________________________________________________________

15-40

BACK - FIRE FIGHTER - £250 @ BFSP - 2nd = lost £250
LAY - COLOUR VISION - £500 @ 2.3 ( BACK BET £250 @ 3.25 ) - 1st = lost £97-50
EW - N/A
**This is effectively a 2 horse race , dan bouy will set off like a scalded cat take a 20 length lead then fade out like simply red , fire fighter has by a long way the best form and i can see some in running carnage...
**Poor ride ;-(
____________________________________________________________

16-10

BACK - NO POPPY - N/A -unp
LAY - POYLE JUDY - N/A -1st
EW - ORIENTALIST - N/A -unp
**I will be mainly leaving this race alone , i do think that no poppy should hose up here but all have squeaks and all are unreliable and inconsistent , time to get kettle on here...

____________________________________________________________

16-40

BACK - BIRDWATCHER - 1st @ 5.3
LAY - BOUGGATI - £250 @ 5.4 ( BACK SET £125 @ 7.2 ) - Unplaced = Won £125
EW - KODICIL - 3rd @ 5.7
**Very hard race to gauge, for me i would probably say the safest option here is a steady ew on Kodicil , the horse most likely to give his true running.

____________________________________________________________

17-10

BACK - MOONSCAPE - £500 @ 1.54 ( NAP ) -2nd = lost £500
LAY - N/A -
EW - STARSTUDDED - unplaced
**The getting out stakes and a maiden , not a great combo ! , however we have a nailed on banker bet for this in Moonscape , i will be mortally wounded and shocked if this does not hose up here.

____________________________________________________________

Have a great day all ;-)
___________________________________________PnL = £578-50 Loss
_
After such a brilliant start , the day fell away to nothing culminating in a loss , the first loss for nearly two weeks , today although uninspiring in quality is taylor made for my type of betting and i have done very well elsewhere so i have no problem with this , its just a pain that the blog account has had a little downturn , that said i havent updated the account for over a week and we are now well over the £10k markand we are well on target.
That said moonscape in the ( un ) lucky last was super shit and is a lay next time out regardless and it just re-enforces the appalling state of the stoute yard , but look at the pluses , ...
1.if you are a level stakes win backer ,  you would have made at least 7+ points profit with 3 good winners.
2.if you follow the EW only bets then you would have been rewarded with a return on 4/6 so again more profit ,.
3.the only real losses today were down to two losing fav lays which had to be layed and moonscape which was appalling.

I have been doing this for over 20 years and i never stop learning or tweaking or trying to improve and today is one of those days where you suck it up , learn , improve and come back stronger....

Sunday, 2 October 2011

i may not...

be able to blog tmrw , as i have just seen and heard what those cunt lib dems have been spouting re:human rights act , im so fucking livid right now i can only think that beheading myself will read my brain of these thoughts and those uber cunts " the lib dem " party...fml , what a set of fucking enormous arseholes......if im not here tmrw its because the beheading has gone wrong and im now actually dead...that may seem like a bit of overkill, but personally i think its better to never have to listen to those terrorist hugging , muslim loving , rapist welcoming do gooder bastards.....fuck off!!

The conservatives want to scrap the human rights act and fuck the eu off , however the lib dems ( the coalition ) dont want this..so i say , call a general election and fuck em off!!..

'Lazy and incoherent'
Mr Huhne, the Lib Dem energy secretary, said: "If Conservative backbenchers persist in wanting to tear up the European Convention on Human Rights, then I can foresee a time when this party would be extremely uncomfortable in coalition," he said.
Shadow justice minister Sadiq Khan described scrapping the act as a "lazy and incoherent position to hold".
"When Tory ministers blame the Human Rights Act, it's usually an excuse not to sort out the problem or a cover for their own failing policies," he said.
He called on government to clarify the coalition's stance.
"Either the deputy prime minister has been overruled, or this is another fantasy policy from Theresa May."
Human rights organisation Liberty did not welcome the government's stance.
Director Shami Chakrabarti said: "Modern Conservatives should think again about human rights values that were truly Churchill's legacy.
"Only a pretty 'nasty party' would promote human rights in the Middle East whilst scrapping them at home."
FUCKING CUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MEGA MASSIVE PAYDAY FOR ME ;-)

Hope you all layed your arses off on " so you think "...WIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiii ;-))) ( i did tell ya all over the last two days to lay lay lay...... )
