Afternoon ...

And its a late start from me as i took delivery of my new Gaming Rig ( work PC , above^ ) this morning and have had the laborious task of installing all my software, updating , downloading etc....but i must say its the dogs bollocks ;-), Racing is pretty standard today for a Monday that is , i have however just had a ( tick tock alert ) huge double on DIOCLES & MONTBAZON in the first 2 races ( DIOCLES 1ST ) Double pays just over 1.5 which i thought was a steal until i watched Diocles hit 1.75 in running and never in danger ( some layers are crazy ) , i have had some info today regarding TIDAL DANCE in the 16:20 Plumpton , this is a GOLD rated MAX EW bet ( im 80/20 lumping the place as its guaranteed to stay ).
**Now as i type MONTABAZON has just WON so thats my easy double done and wages made for today , can now sit back , wait for steam to finish downloading my games and start to shoot some Zombies ;-)), will update later with the result from Tidal Dance's race.

BOOOM!!...1.9 THE PLACE!!, Thank you very much ;-)

Yawn & Stretch.........

Up far to early ffs!! , went out for a few early evening sherbets and predictably enough got ratted!! , can never just have 1 and be happy  , i always seem to just carry on until i can longer walk ;-@@@ , so i awoke with a mouth like an arabs flip flop and a splitting headache....time for the paracetamol's and a litre of tea!.
Getting some stats work done this morning whilst i review the days cards and there is some good racing today , i have 4 races to get stuck into today and seem to be back in form after a 4/4 on weds i hit all the right notes yesterday although the place dutch didnt payoff i countered that with my Lay / Trade on key to the west and i nailed the other two races so profit wise it was another 3/3 , so 7/7 in last 2 days is quite pleasing, so lets take a look at todays 4 races....

RACE 1

Fontwell Park 16:30
digibet.com Standard Open NH Flat Race
£2100.00 added, 4-6yo, 1m 6f, Class 6

..A fairly decent looking event which should concern just 3 principal runners , Unex Degas , Il Presidente and RUGGED JACK .
Unex Degas ( non runneris a good looking sort from the Pipe Yard which has a bit of fair form and has the blinkers applied for the first time today , out of High Chapparal a much improved run is expected.
Il Presidente is very interesting coming over from Germany to run in a NHF race , if the money is down for this then i would suggest following it.
Rugged Jack is the form choice and the likely fav and tbh at this juncture i see no point in deserting him as i feel there is a lot more to come , a WIN bet is the suggestion on this although at between 3.0-5.0 all three could be backed for a fair value Dutch ( my bet ) .

RESULT :
Fontwell 4.30
 1st2 Il Presidente (GER)11-4
 2nd1 Rugged Jack (FR)6-4 F

RACE 2

Lingfield Park 15:20
lingfieldpark.co.uk Maiden Stakes
£3500.00 added, 3yo only, 1m 2f, Class 5

..This will be a straight dual between COTTON TRADER and THREE BARDS as both have solid form although in all honesty although Cotton Trader is Fav Three Bards has imo the better form and certainly has the better speed figures i make this a GOLD RATED DUTCH ( fixed return , combined odds around 1.32 , ie: £162 staked returns £50 profit on either winning approx ) .

RACE 3

Wolverhampton 18:40
wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk Maiden Fillies' Stakes
£3500.00 added, 3yo plus, 1m 141y, Class 5

..
Only a small field but a tricky maiden nonetheless. Millibar should have the beating of Zenarinda on today's terms but is less certain to get the better of the once-raced Arch Of Colours, who wasn't disgraced on her debut at Kempton and will appreciate the extra distance. Strawberrymystique makes her belated racecourse debut and the half-sister to high-class mare, Strawberrydaiquiri, should be noted for any strong support in the betting, but fellow newcomer MARGATE is a first foal of a Listed winner and the Khalid Abdulla-owned filly gets the nod to make a winning start.
..For me the bet in this race is the LAY / Trade on ARCH OF COLOURS.

RACE 4

Dundalk 18:20
Fundraising Made Easy At Dundalk Maiden
€10000.00 added, 3yo only, 7f

..This looks set up for ATTICUS FINCH , now trying 7f for the first time after getting outstayed over 1m and running on well over 6f lto, Tigresa may prove to be of value in the place market but in all honesty i see no other bet here other than a straight win on Atticus Finch.

RESULT :

Races 1,2 and 4 will be used for todays TRIXIE and todays LOTD is Arch of Colours.

Have fun , keep smiling and keep the faith.......im here all day if anyone wants any race advice ;-) , ttfn x

Gooten Morgue ..;-)

Morning All , had a great 4/4 Yesterday which is a relief  as i was starting to worry lol , also had a nice little trixie up yesterday with the two dutches and tappanappa , didnt pay massive but was the equivalent of 3 x 1.5 winners  so was good enough to make me smile.
We have three races to aim at today and i will be doing another Trixie on top of the standard bets.

RACE 1

Warwick 16:25
Racing UK Intermediate Open NH Flat Race
£2100.00 added, 5-6yo, 2m, Class 6

... This is a very competitive Bumper and the winner of this and probably the next 3 will go onto much better things , KEY TO THE WEST is thought to be Cheltenham bound and is a £125,000 newcomer which will be focused on as its A P McCOY's riding return and the word is that this is expected to win however as much as i would love this Westerner bay gelding to win and say to everyone LUMP ON !! , i simply cant , i could and would say back it by all means as it is the most likely winner but there are live dangers in this field which are forward and are also expected to run very well , these are Avrumi , Whisky Yankee and HURRICANE HENRY from the Lavelle yard , this is fit and quite forward and a big run is expected , they are also suggesting a wins a possability so , plenty of options to consider.

Conclusion : It would be easy to say lump the fav , but its not as straightforward as that , the Henderson beast is the most likely winner on paper but thats it , with the market currently looking like this ( above )  i would say LAY the fav and look to trade back in running i would say Lay at 1.76 and buy at 2.2 for an easy profit , however if it is running well it only lengthen if its gonna lose, if you have some spare winnings i will ultimately say back it but dont be surprised it if does get turnt over.
MY bet in this race will be a PLACE DUTCH concerning Hurricane Henry and Avrumi @ 3.1 / 5.3 as this imo represents better value than just backing the fav @ 1.78.

RACE 2

Gowran Park 16:05
Nugent Spirit 25 Horsebox Flat Race
€13000.00 added, 4-7yo, 2m

...MORNING ROYAL from the mighty Mullins Yard is thought to be a bit of a good thing in this race but im not to sure as the 2nd fav MOSCOW MANNON has winning form x2 over 2m ( nhf ) at Fairyhouse and Galway and on both occasions he ran to 4m flat -/+ 2 secs and this not only makes him extremely consistent but 10-14secs quicker than the fav , ok the fav did win by 17L last time out making all and trouncing the field but he still ran 14 secs slower than Moscow Mannon , so i will suggest this is most definitely a 2 horse race and a DUTCH is a nailed on , i make this a GOLD std bet , the first Gold in ages but this is absolutely nailed on.

RESULT :
Gowran Park 4.05
 1st1 Moscow Mannon (IRE)7-4
 2nd3 Morning Royalty (IRE)9-10 F

RACE 3

Kempton Park 17:35
32Red Casino Median Auction Maiden Stakes
£2500.00 added, 3-5yo, 7f, Class 6

...An incredibly tough puzzle to find , with a case for 6 of the 8 runners , lets start with the 2 newcomers , Firstly Fairway to Heaven a bay colt who is probably best watched but could like so many here run a decent race , this is a watcher tho imo , and Secondly and more interestingly is the £82,000 Red Clubs Colt from the Hills yard , he is doing ok on the AW and anything he sends out has to be respected so there may be some value with this .
All of those with experience have form that entitles them to respect , Remix has a few 2nds that suggest a win is just around the corner however each has suggested it finds nothing in a finish and has traded a good deal shorter in each so this looks like a good BTL option , Kalokagathia has an excellent chance on form as it ran over CD lto just going down by around 1/2L in third but was staying on strongly at the end and was full of running it will take a smart run to beat this.
Ashdown Lad ran a much improved race lto to come 2nd to the highly rated Discoverer again another running on very strongly at the end i think he will have to improve again to win as i feel a running of around 77 will be needed to win this and the best i feel this can get is a place.
Finally we have Mr Mackenzie a horse with some so so form over shorter trips , has run ok without really threatening and unless it improves massively for the step up in trip will not be good enough at the end where there will be a few running on.

CONCLUSION : In a race that is very hard to pinpoint the winner i will say i feel the best bet here is an EW or ( my bet )  a PLACE ONLY on KALOKAGATHIA as i feel it has all the gears , the form and the running style to do well here.
