Thursday Sand Stormer ( s ) ...

Well yesterday went well even tho i did need to do some Steward trading to ensue a Profit..but a profit is a profit regardless....Weds sees some shizz at Southwell which as a rule i dont touch unless its by Speightstown or 100% all USA bred...so its the evenings fayre at Kempton this is our choice of fun and as usual its a nice enough card in spots with some tricky maidens and competitive Hcaps but Kempers is a track that catches many a horse and Punter out, swinging in right to left with the bend a good 2f away from the finish , this can see many a change in fortune as the leader off the bend and thru the break will have to be smart to hold on as a good finisher can easily rattle down the outside and win a race or two , this track is is all about jockey skills as a good ride can beat a better horse.

Races of Interest..well on the back of no comments and low interest i will just pick two at random...or not...The maiden that starts proceedings has to be one of the worst ever held ...anywhere...the front two are a mile clear and one of these will def be winning so if come off you can dutch then pile in with every penny you can muster... ( Kirby WINS on MY GIGI in the 1st @ 11/10 by 6L )...;-)

..Now the Fillies maiden ( Div 1 ) in the following race makes much more appeal as this holds some fancy types from big stables and some rather precocious breeding. Al my Jocks to follow are at the meeting most if not have rides in this race making it a proper puzzle.

1. SDS rides the likely Fav DANCING SANDS  but this has looked a weak finisher in all its races over both 7 & 8f and is racing on a track where weak finishes are vulnerable, could well spin off the bend in the front three and looking good only to falter in the final 1f...this is not a bet for me but a very low in running lay could be a play..at sub 1.7. ( Boom Easy match and profit ~ It actually got matched at 1.11 so my 1.52 was safe lol )

2. Kirby rides GIFT OF RAIN and this has slightly more scope after running a bit one paced in the final 1f lto over 7f but could improve enough to get involved here but being a galileo im expecting this to be hung out and come late and fast as these tend to take some winding up and this is the place to play that hand.

3.Martin Harley rides SPECIAL MISS for man of the moment Marco Botti and this Authorized sort could indeed be something a bit special and the overall fto SR for 2yo is just over 20% leading this to having very strong claims.

ANY one of the top three if in their right minds and mood can win this however the one here that really catches my eye is the Half Sister to 2000 Guineas Winner Footprintsinthesand BELLE D'OR , Yes the fact Havlin is riding is a bit off putting and yes it could run green and hang here but if she has just 60% of her sisters class then she could be different class and tbh asking her to run on the AW fto  and to a mark of at least 80 is a tough ask..for any horse so this isnt one to steam into but at the likely odds is well worth some EW coin , but i will say this , come off time if i get get a decent dutch done on 2,3 or 4 of these then i will...time will tell.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~RESULT : ( Belle D'OR was a NON RUNNER )
And the 1750...Nice Hcap with some decent prices knocking about and another JTF ( Jockeys to Follow ) Dutch.....
RESULT : Best we managed here was 2nd @ 29.0...Nice price for a trade >>
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1820 : And this could be another for Team JTF as Martin Lane has a fine ride with BARNABY BROOK , a nice little class dropper to pulverise a weak field.

RESULT : Weak 4th and a Fail here....>>> But HARLEY WINS the 5th for Team JTF @ 7.40 ;-)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 And Jim Crowley in the finale is an old system bet , well rather its superstition...I ALWAYS back JC in the final race of any card he is involved in..often laying something else as cover and quite often with a nice reward...( Crowley was 2nd @ 5.2 ) and all Team JTF are out so will monitor their action...but you can Gtee one thing...if any of Team JTF ride a winner i will be involved in it some how...this AW season is going to be awesome for me,...i can feel it in my bones.....
