Welcome Back

Finally we can shake off the reigns of the bedraggled NH season and start to concentrate on some proper racing and we Open the season with a Good looking card from Kempton , a great but tough card from the Mighty Doncaster and we are also blessed with the World Cup of Racing being held at Meydan...Superb action with superb Horses.

Brilliant way to open a card and a ridic puzzle at first glance , the four im most interested in here are Shamdarley , Perfect Cracker , Mont Ras and Rev De Nuit , now there is a lot of deadwood and failed AW beasts lining up here so its quite easy to dismiss half the field , there are a few that have a squeak on old form but more with relevant form , there is very little to split a lot of these on ratings and i would guess at it being a very tight finish of these four i would suggest that SHAMDARLEY is probably the safest EW bet it likes the ground, likes the trip ( CD winner ) has a decent draw and a tactically superb Jockey for a big ol Cavalry Charge like this .

Yep i shit the bed today , been up since stupid o'clock looking at races , watching horses , and doing everything bar sleep , that can only mean 1 thing!! , yep Tmrw the Flat Season Starts...Bring it on!!.

*Sniper Review : The front three are well ahead of Ostentation so that is discarded an becomes the lay in the race , Quinsman on all recent evidence and form should be winning this as he is holding his form well but Shy and Talbot Green will give him something to think about more so the former who is well in at the weights and  if fit from a break has enough solid form to put him into the winners enclosure , i do think Quinsman is a solid looking bet here.-** FFS Fecking Ostentation Wins!!...FECK ME!! , Out of the PP max laid the winner so done my balls in there and i backed Quinsman...so a ridic bad start , gonna be a long day!!

*Sniper Review : Its my opinion that this trip is too short for Isdaal and will be laid , as for the winner i like the look of a couple most Interesting to me Diamond Twister who races off around 90 over the sticks and was just last may coming 3rd at Newmarket in a 1m4f Class 5 Hcap off of 60 now down to an all time low of 46 if ever its going to win about this time is it although there are 1 or 2 that could prove too good i feel that at 13.5 its a worthy EW punt.**DT was very poor and is just that , poor , thankfully i MAX LAID ISDAAL and made a deece profit on this race.

*Sniper Review : Red Hand is a very interesting runner making its belated debut , this Mr Greeley bay Filly that originally cost £425,000 should ( on paper at least ) be totally different gravy to these with only having Danube River to beat the Dutch Looks Nailed on , But in all honesty i will be very surprised if this Filly cant teach these a lesson.Danube River was well beaten lto by Margate ( comfortably beaten recently ) and although no mug and will be winning a race or two eventually i will be surprised if its today.

*Sniper Review : A fairly decent 1m Hcap with a few in with a shout , Twinkled has scored on its last 3 visits here including over CD and looks a few lengths better than the other AW venues and with this is taken to return to winning form , CYFLY' should make a good race of it as this can race from anywhere and Mr Green is good enough to get Involved the others i feel have it all to do as a few have been beaten before by the main group.** what a piss poor day, probably the worst this year , a transitional AW card that appeared quite easy but has been terrible...roll on TMRW....( At least the PRP bets are 6/6 )

*Sniper Review : Galacian has shown it only just gets 6f so this 7f trip at which it has been soundly beaten over before is a big neg and at 2.22 is well worth taking on , both Incendiary and Four Better have better speed ratings ( although close ) and represent a better bet with two or three being quite close here i would say the LAY is the bet to take.- **FINALLY - Hit the jackpot with my Max LOTD and hit the winner at a deece price...and im back in front!!.

What a Stellar Day again....

Yes indeed this is one of the Incred scenes from around the country yesterday as the country still baths in swathes of unseasonal Sunshine ;-) , its fab and ive been in the Yard this morning having some breakfast and soaking up a couple of hours of morning Sun , its just amazing for March shame its set to cool down by as much as 10° over the next few days ;-(.
This should however still be good enough for a fantastic opening day ( New Flat Season ) at Doncaster on Saturday , some okish racing in Ireland thru this week has done enough to Whet my appetite and with the PRP specials now on 4/4 it is all boding well for the year ahead.

Afternoon me Beauts ;-)

Wow For the First Time in 2 Years i managed to beat the Mighty Sledge ( Top left Pic ) today 6-4 2-6 6-4 , Great game in some truly astonishing March Sunshine felt like it was 80° on the court , absolutely fabulous !!, we both felt pretty destroyed at the end ( old age is kicking in ;-( ) but was still a great work out! , every shot was played at some stage today, smashes, deft flicks , drop shots , spin , cross courts , over head and Sledge even managed to make up a new shot with a double back handed reverse twist over head lob!!!...n1 son ;-).

So with me enjoying the sun and getting some exercise in today the Blog is late, the race cards havent been produced in fact nothing has been done , but knowing this yesterday i had already set my stall out and had previously decided to just concentrate on a quite deece looking Leopardstown Card which Kicks off at around 16:25...so i shall post a Lite card for this shortly , hope everyone is happy and having an equally fantastic day in the sun!!.

*A very tough start i have rather clinically gone for a dutch on the thre Aiden o'Brien runners however i will not be surprised if the Harrington,Wachman or Bolger runners dont get involved , Along has been chosen as the best back on the grounds of its family ties being a Half sister to the very useful Wonder of Wonders and being in the same family tree as Galileo and See the Stars, should be a great race that holds plenty of future winners , get the notepad out.
**I notice there has been quite a bit of Early money for Princess Highway , fto ran an ok race running behind some useful sorts on ground it probably didnt like expect improvement for sure but at 3.7 and the fav i will make this my LOTD as i will be SHOCKED if something else doesnt run to around 85-90 and prove too good already.
***And i am indeed left Shocked , the Irish money spoke and Princess Highway duly wins @ 2/1F still feel this was more of a plot than seeing the best of these , the ground i feel is the key to the much improved run...expensive start to the evening for me.

Good Morning World ;-))

And what an amazing start to the day with a crisp blue untroubled sky and the warmth of the sun on my face... Utterly excellent thats all i can say i love the Sun and im sooo happy now its returned after the damp,cold misery of the last few months and i am going to allow myself to be humiliated again tmrw playing tennis with Sledge...Tbh its the only real exercise i get so win or lose ( probably ) i will enjoy the run out , above is the rear view from two different sets of windows from the rear of my home ( illustrating the wonderful sky ) and its days like today i long to have my old 150ft garden back ;-(....maybe i should win more and then buy a new house ;-) but as the Mrs spends more than i earn that will be some feat!! , had a steady ol' day yesterday with just a single bet advised on PRP and that won so thats 2/2 and the kind of start i like , bring on the Flat season proper!!.
Today we have an Info horse running although its not a nap or a cert but " has a good chance "its owned by a friend Mr Guy Reed and all that has been said is that the horse is fit and in good shape, its ready to race and should show up well and is worth a decent EW punt if the odds are there , the Horse is HAYWAIN ( Southwell 15:00 ) and is currently priced at 7.0 , The stable are in decent nick , the trainer/Jockey combo do well here and the Owner/Trainer/Jockey combo recently had a winner so all bodes well enough , Haywain has a half Brother which won on the Fibresand so that shouldnt be a problem and being out of Peintre Celebre means the distance should be fine and as for the rest of today, well im currently musing and deciding but i think i may well have a double Lite card today Southwell on the Front Page and a NH lite in the race card section....

Good Morning..

Morning Everyone, hope you all had a great weekend in the Sun , a fantastic weekend everywhere with some very unseasonal temps around ( not that im complaining ) and it is now that time of year when the clubs come out for a clean ready to do damage , damage that is to the greens im attacking and not my team mates and friends ( as shown in previous posts ) , yes the Golfing season is back ;-)..will my back hold up?....time to get to the range and find out!!.

The racing today is light and none to exciting so im going to be taking the day off but all is not lost as i also have 2 Info Horses running today and a Super Nap so the wages will still be made and profits attained, all three Horses will be posted up at PRP.
 With that i will bid thee all Adieu and see ya all bright and breezy on Tues when my Friend Mr Guy Reed has a very nice looking Peintre Celebre colt running for the first time , i will be speaking to him about tmrw so will update after our little tête a tête ;-).

Good un ze morning batfinks , hope your all well today , had a nervous start yesterday with the first 3 races all burning badly but pulled it round with 4 from 4 winners in the last 4 so that was very pleasing and i did very well at the other meetings so tiz all good.
Today we have 3 deece meetings thru the day and a couple of nice eve meets with 3 Info horses running today so im expecting to make some good wedge today!

Goulanes @ 17.5 i feel is a good price for a punt , solid p2p Background and has won over 3m in that sphere so the trip shouldnt be a problem ( the pace maybe ) from the in form Pipe stable with all or nothing Tom Scud's aboard i think he will he will ( like he does ) charge off and make this a proper test and try and steal it from the front, with this in mind without winning it should trade a few points lower than 17.5..worth a nibble imo.- 1st @ 34.1 - Get the fuck in!!

Velator : has to be the EW NAP for today ( 5.3 ) won lto over 3m1f the admirable Rachael Green rides a good race and can judge pace well  the Hat Trick looks on the cards and this looks a rock solid bet to nothing or a Place Only as i only see Desert Joe and Wisentraum as dangers.- 1st @ 4.99

Gibb River is expected to show its normal running with a return to form today after coming back listless lto , its previous run when 3rd ( long way ahead of the 4th ) to Ubi Ace will be good enough to take this easily , Petit Robin will need the run ( apparently ) - 2nd @ 3.26

Dark Shadow has a great chance of securing the Finale at Newbury with Ed Linehan in the plate , stays all day , consistent and untroublesome at 6.4 looks to be a solid EW punt, of the 3 hendo runners we detailed this morning this was the one that they felt had the most obvious chance ( Gibb River performs a lot different at home ) - Brought Down when challenging and running on -

And finally i think that ALBA KING ( nb ) has great chance of getting a double for the red hot Sue Smith with Jon England good Value for his 10lb claim - 1st @ 2.68

Morning .....

And what a Superb Morning its been, warm,sunny and quiet...fantastic! , i love starting my day off when its nice and chilled like this....only wish that was the view from my house!.
Yesterday was the Day of the Budget and there were no shocks just more pocket raping from a Govt that is doing its best to create an even bigger class divide , the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and middle England gets put in its place!.
The 37p rise on cigarettes is not to stop people smoking its to balance the books like motorists the smokers are an easy target , fuel is not up but the 3.1p rise planned for August will still take place , Pensioners battered and nothing new there , all the hulabaloo over stamp duty is a smoke and mirrors act along with the whole Child benefit scenario. As far as im concerned Child benefit should be scrapped for those earning over £50,000 a year , Fuel needs to be cut by 50p , Gas/Electric/Water should be not for profit , our borders should be shut until we as a country have re-stabilised , we need to refute the Human rights act and tell Brussels to go fuck itself , we need to stop giving out money to the rest of the world when we dont have enough Hospitals, Police etc ourself ( and dont start bleating about the fact they cant help them selves , most of the so called impoverished nations in Africa and around the globe can find the resources to buy Kalashnikovs).
Our Govt is ripe with wastage , Fraud  and exuberance that is beyond their calling , imo the whole country and i mean everyone should just down tools and say fuck off!! until we get the changes that are right and proper , we dont want much we just want some fairness and parity but i fear that day will never come what we may get is more moronic , unplanned , futile and illegal fracas like we have seen recently that achieve nothing.
So with that half rant over i shall just summarise by saying, Budget = less money for 90% of the populous and more for the rule makers, lets all fuck off to Spain!.

On the Racing front i had quite a superb day again yesterday , hitting 2 placepots , and had 1 proper Info horse win @ 1.98 ( 3.2 in morning ) although i also had a couple of fancied efforts not do quite as well but i was fortunate enough to get out when all the late money piled into others so no harm done.
Some very tasty looking bets out today with some favs looking nailed on and a couple of superb EW specials in a day that holds 6 meetings thru the day/evening in the UK and Ireland , today will be a good day!! , but what card shall i post??......W'ton will do for today....
