Good afternoon all , running late as ive been work watching this morning and doing a few visits for coffee and biscuits , had a few conversations with some influential people this morning and gathered some good intel , with this there have been no cards produced for today so i will be mainly trading on the fly , however one horse that i will be backing is ...TONY DINOZZO ( 13:30 Folkstone ) , has everything in its favour today and is fit and ready to race , i expect this to win today ( as do a few others ) . ( 3rd - Ran well and just gave up 2nd spot in the final strides , however the winner ballyclough looks very useful , Tony is just under these and will be winning when found a more suitably graded race over further...
One that i personally like is Glenwood Present ( 16:00 Folkstone ) , this won an egg and spoon P - T - P race More by luck than virtue , but then rather surprisingly was purchased by Nick Elliot for £50,000 , in this realm , for a horse that has achieved nothing this is quite a hefty ol' sum and would give the impression that it has something to offer , i have tried a bit of digging to get some proper info on this but it has apparently gone right under the radar , so i will be having a go and watching with interest. - UNPLACED - Ran well for about 1m6f then just totally blew up and virtually come to a stand still , i can only presume either nick has spunked off £50k on a dud or the horse is amiss , i hope for his sake its the latter...one to watch next time out.
And finally 1 for Southwell that interests me is Mconnell in the 14:50 , this has no discernible form to speak of but has run 6 times here and winning 5 of them ( 2nd in the other ) , this will be its first run here since January and i think it could run very well back on its favourite surface. - 1st @ 4.1

I get the feeling you are having a good day. At least two winners :-).
ReplyDeleteToday has been super smooth , a lot of people dont like these poor racing days, but i make more mon/tues/weds than i do at any other time , there are so many other ways to make money and you find a lot of " job " horses running these days..
ReplyDeleteHope the 4:00 does well got a nice double with McConnel :)
