Mid Week FUN from FAIRYHOUSE...

Well i sit with a whole 5 mins free and after my friend " SHUKY " asked me to take a gander at Sentaril i thought i would breeze through the whole card for the craic ;), but its well known i deplore Oirish Racing as i feel its as Bent as the Chesterfield Spire , however the racing thru the day is equally uninspiring and the PPL races are thin so i just thought " ahh fuck it , take a look "...so here we are.

My thoughts on Fairyhouse ,...

We start off with a Maiden and as is quite usual for the mid season Irish maiden there are some really well bred sorts on show but PILLOW for Johnny Murtagh had a very sweet introduction and looks sure to build on that and experience in these races is usually worth a good 6-10lbs so a run of around 74-82 should be on the cards and that should be good enough to win and a place looks just about nailed on. - 2nd @ 4.98

Next up is a 7f Hcap and we get to see the the very disappointing Bronte run again and i say Disappointing as this was very highly regarded last season ( thought top group class ) but has completely failed to build upon its promise and is best watched until it really starts to shine , what we do have against it is a highly competitive field with little to separate the leading protagonists so any bet here is going to be slightly speculative at best but i do like CEASARIA who if taking to this firmer surface could show that his run behind the progressive line drummer to be no fluke. - UNP ( Bronte ran well for 2nd , matched at 1.21  but couldnt keep its charge up )

Now we have the Brownstown Class 1 event over 7f for fillies ( Group 3 ) and the race in which Mr Shukman has an interest in namely SENTARIL...This race is full of nearly horses, almost winners racing at levels they cant really compete in, horses with ideas of grandeur that cannot be fulfilled horse that show a lot at home and fuck all on the track and Sentaril is worse in many cases as i feel this is almost to the point of being tripless , what that means is that it shows a consistent level of performance thru a range of trips with generally the same outcome, 6f it travels well but is not quick enough to really be a sprinter and gets done for toe in the final 1f or more , 7f again generally travels well only to not find enough when running on and gets blasted away in the final 1f , and again over 1m it travels well only to weaken at the business end, this horse continually flatters to deceive and is not to be trusted although if a big enough price could be attained pre race then this looks like a great opportunity for a BTL ( Back to Lay ).
So what can or will win??..Well i like the look of FIESOLANA as a betting proposition , it races with pace and can quicken well between 6f and 1m1f so can sprint, and can stay , can cruise into the races and stride on and has no quibbles about the ground as it all seems to come alike , then you the likes of Lilys Angel , Snow Time and the frustrating Hanky Panky. - 1ST @ 6.99

THREE BELLS looks a decent punt in the next ( 1st @ 3.88 ) , ANGELS GUARD THEE , ROCKABILLY RIOT and SINOUR round off the card and the selections.....Good Luck.

    2. When I had a look there was some selections for the other meetings, including the jumps action but then when I checked back in see how they had done it was just the Irish card.
