Other betting opportunities have also shown a degree of failure this month with several very short priced " shoo ins " getting rumbled and mainly when they are carrying my money ;( , no big wins or decent hits to speak off have kept me little more than ticking over this month although i have been doing quite well with some of the bigger priced selections but i have been low on the stakes with these and not taking advantage when they hit ( maybe a lack of confidence just now ? ) , this is odd tho as Aug is usually a very busy and profitable month for me but it has just not been happening , bad luck , oversight , whatever it is , it has made for a muddling period as we step into the 2nd half of the month and one can hope it starts to improve.
Well after the shite that is known as Mon/Tues racing we finally move to a 3 meeting day and with a little more class and opportunity however looking thru todays cards we have a rather poor 12 Hcaps in the afternoon a couple of claimers 4 or 5 maiden and a single listed event so it looks like a skinny day again...
The lone Listed event today is a decent looking £25k race that does look wide open however i am going to row in with the Fav ROCK CHOIR after this demolished a decent field lto in her first try at Hcaps ( Won by 4L eased down ) and had earlier won her maiden by a very easy 5L the trip is no problem and the ground is fine and with any amount of improvement left this could easily be a few pounds better than these.
So we will plow a lone furrow until tmrw as we have 3 days of Newmarket , Newbury , Chester and Donny to look forward to and hopefully some better profit opportunities..ttfn x
