Bleary eyed but Alive.....

What a day yesterday...another fab start ruined by a bag of shit in the middle....sigh!!......As i stated a few days ago the boys in blue are back and again they scored with a few winners yesterday and today they have 10 runners , i would advise a Carole Jackson ( sic ) dutch on all there runners today as this will produce a profit of sorts as i expect them to win at least 3 and place in more.
Aside from the blue overload we have a cracking days racing to look at with Newmarket , York and Newbury Headlining and today i will be doing a card of sorts for Mark Shipley who i think is off to YORK so good luck mate and have a great day.

RACE 1
BACK - SILVERY MOON - 3rd @ 7.20
EW - LEVITATE - 2nd @ 10.0
OUTSIDER - VITO VOLTERRA -
*The ground will be key to finding the winners today and i will be looking mainly for ground specialists with C or D form and these three tick all the boxes , they all like the soft , they like and have won over the trip , they are all in form , they have all won recently and on my speed ratings there is not a lot splitting Silvery Moon or Levitate but both are a few pounds better than VV , good solid dutching opportunity.

RACE 2

BACK - HIGH JINX - 2nd @ 7.20
EW - CRACKENTORP -
OUTSIDER - BOLIVIA -
*Both Mount Athos and Surajj ( two favs ) will hate the going and both will be laid  , Surajj has shown a dislike for the ground when running poor in the Northumberland and Mount Athos has only won on firm or the Polytrack.( Mount Athos 1st @ 7.0 LOL )

RACE 3

BACK - MIJHARR ( NAP ) - **Clipped heels and almost brought down, Pulled up**
EW - N/A -
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*This looks a cracking bet today and due to the size of the field you will be able to get a decent ( ish ) price for it , its form is mega rock solid and is imo miles clear of anything else , Just beaten by Fulgur , Just beaten by Gatewood and beaten by Fury ( when it was on a going day ) are 3 pieces of form that should be easily good enough for this , should be tip top now, likes the soft going and this should be getting its first win of the season.

RACE 4

BACK - CALEDONIA LADY -
EW - CONFESSIONAL -
OUTSIDER - HAMISH MCGONAGALL - 1st @ 6.91
*A typically tough York sprint but Caledonia won quite cosily just a few days ago and i feel like striking whilst the iron is hot, she likes to come off the pace and there is a lot to aim at in this field as there are a few that like to charge off and i feel Hayley ( turner, the rider ) will have an even better idea of when to make that late thrust thru the pack.

RACE 5

BACK - SHRIMPTON -
EW - GARSWOOD - 3rd @ 3.35
OUTSIDER - BLAINE - 1st @ 6.36
*Shrimpton has to be the form / speed ratings choice almost by default as the others have shown nothing the other 2 selections are based on their speedy pedigree and should be bang there.

RACE 6

BACK - RUMH -
EW - ORSIPPIUS -
OUTSIDER - GETABUZZ - 3rd @ 11.0
*Tough stayers race in which Rumh has to prove that not only is a 10lb weight hike too much but she can translate that sort form back to turf , he was pretty much gifted the race lto as he had an uncontested lead and won as he liked , he wont get that today and will have to race properly against a field of proven stayers , that said this daughter of Monsun is bred for these type of trips and is good enough to get involved.

RACE 7

BACK - ROYAL RASCAL ( PLACE NAP ) - 1st @ 2.94
EW - HIDDEN COIN -
OUTSIDER - POLSKI MAX -
*A few of the fancied runners here have not run on ground this soft yet so have a lot to answer but Royal Rascal ran the useful Euxton Hall to 1/2L over at Ponte and over 6f lto on soft going and Ponte with its tough finish showed this in good light and that was a very good run and this is a weaker looker race and  if this cant place here i will eat my socks.

Over at Newmarket i really want Bated Breath ( non runner ) to win today , we are desperate for a sprinting star so come on BB ;-)
Have a great day all , see you all on our Facebook page.
