Hi all , Finally some class action as we start off the July Meeting! , its been another few sodden days and rained so much that my Tennis Courts were under 5" of water leaving only the Centre Court playable ;-( going for a game with Nick this aft ( Pro badminton player ) and hoping that it has some how dried up ;-@@!!...Racing wise the ground has been throwing up some odd results as you would expect and form has been hard to follow however 2 stables which appear to be hitting some form are Nicholls and Godolphin ( with Crankie ) these should merit far closer inspection from now.
Sir Prancealot is a non runner today which is disappointing as this owes me but i guess i'll just have to wait.
Right lets crack on with todays card and see what damage we can do.....

RACE 1
BACK - SHANTARAM - 1st @ 3.23
EW - VALIANT -
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*Starting with the Bahrain Trophy over 1m5f a trip which they all should get looks on paper at least a straight Duel between Shantaram & Valiant as i feel Rewarded is flattered by his form and results and i dont feel the others are upto it although i wouldnt go overboard about any tbh , Valiant is currently just an improving Hcapper , Shantaram is one or two rungs below the best , Rewarded is just a non improving Hcapper ( albeit a good one ) as are the others and they no place imo in any form of group races although this group 3 holds little standing.

BACK - ALHEBAYEB - 1st @ 6.0
EW - GALE FORCE TEN -
OUTSIDER - AHERN - 3rd @ 3.6
*Now we have the July Stakes over 6f and tbh a miserable turnout for a good race and on Form this again should be a straight fight between Gale Force Ten & Alhebayeb both of which come into this race having run extremely well at Royal Ascot securing places in both the Queen Mary and the Norfolk Stakes respectively withonly Ahern looking likely enough to have the improvement required to get involved so for me on a form basis this again is straight forward.

BACK - HAJRAS -
EW - GREEK WAR -
OUTSIDER - SILVER BLAZE - 2nd @ 17.4
*Now we have an intriguing Goldsmith's Hcap over 1m2f and the boys in blue are in action and now in form so neither can be ruled out as you can downgrade their recent form but we also in the field at least 7 in which a solid case can be made for , this looks very tough but a good race to watch.
Nabucco comes from the all conquering Gosden team but i feel its not quite at this level just yet and is disregarded , Fennell Bay and Prussian come from the in/out/in/out/in/anyones guess Johnston stable and both have solid claims but i prefer their third runner HAJRAS with Hanaghan riding and the form of its run behind Expense Claim looks solid , this i feel will be in the mix.
Stature with Moore riding for Balding , Razorbill and Silver Blaze just add to the confusion a tough race to be definitive about .

BACK - RED CADEAUX - ( NAP ) - 2nd @ 3.61 -((
EW - N/A -
OUTSIDER N/A - -
*The Prince of Wales stakes now a Gp2 over 1m4f and i love RED CADEAUX for this , Remarkably consistent and a proper race horse , loves the trip , races on all ground types , can race on or off the pace, can quicken , can battle..what more can u ask for??...this is my NAP.

BACK - FLEETING SMILE -NON RUNNER -
EW - MANDEVILLE -
OUTSIDER - NOT NOW BLONDIE / HASANAN -
*HaHa now we have a traditional pin stickers comefest a million runner maiden .....time to get the breeders manual out......brb......Fleeting Smile is the form horse by a mile and with natural improvement should be in the mix and could very well win this if doing so however after opening up at 2.2 and drifting out to its current 4.6 this is looking cold and not one for me , we have 2 horses running from our breeders catalogue today Not Now Blondie and Hasanan and i have these in a Place Dutch at 6.8 & 20.0 although i feel neither will like or enjoy the trip but its a path im following and will not desert , as the once great Bob Holness said " ive started so i'll finish ".....Of the other newcomers i like Flywheel ( NR ) , Lady Vermeer and Mandeville.....This race is just full of future winners and will be great to watch.

EW - MISTER MUSIC -
OUTSIDER - N/A -
*Now its a far easier to solve 6 runner 1m conditions race in which we have a warm fav in Mukhadram which ran easily its best race fto when 2nd in the Wood Ditton but has not progressed imo and is worth taking on but what with?...not Sovereign debt thats for sure , i will be having a speculative punt/dutch on the 2 Hannon Runners.

EW - SHOWBOATING -
OUTSIDER - MEDICI TIME -
*Arr the Finale , the getting out stakes , the " im skint now lets pile into the last race fav and hope " race...and its a 5f dash , 15 runners and a Hcap....There is no part of this race i like....However we do have a horse running from one of our stable sponsors ( Guy Reed ) and that is Le Toreador and i will be partaking in some EW tomfoolery with this along with Medici Time and Showboating ;-)..Good Luck.

Todays card are a mixture of speed ratings and Personal Selections as i have felt conflicted on several races and have amended as i have seen fit , a good days racing awaits and then there is also Donny ;-)......and then the evening meet at Epsom....spoilt today are we not haha..Have a great Day , see ya on FB..
