FORGOTTEN VOICE, winner of the Royal Hunt Cup in 2009, is set for his first start for nearly two years when he contests a novice hurdle at Bangor this evening. Still owned by Susan Roy, wife of BHA chairman Paul,Forgotten Voice has not won since then, but performed with credit at Group level for Jeremy Noseda.
He is now with Nicky Henderson, who said: "I think it's probably easier for his legs [to go jumping]. I've had him about three months and he's a lovely big horse and he's been fine.
"Not surprisingly he does his work very well, he finds it all pretty easy. It's a good sort of place to start with him."
Champion jockey Tony McCoy takes the ride and Henderson added: "We want to get him on the track and see how he goes and whether he gets the trip. He's got to learn to settle and hopefully he'll relax and enjoy himself."
