Friday Evening Wolver'n card ;-)

This is becoming almost a tradition now lol...lets take a gander thru the Wolverhampton card for this evening...

RACE 1 :
A fairly weak looking Hcap over the true 5f ( and 20yds ) and a few arrive here with a bit of form but there is one trainer i follow very strongly here and that is Reg Hollinshead as he seems to like it here ( home track i think ? , dont quote me on that ) and he has Scarlet Strand which ran a good race when 3rd here over the extended 5f ( 200yds ) tiring at the end and this may be best for him however that was sandwiched between two very poor runs so a bet here has to be on trust.
I do feel DANGEROUS AGE is the most likely winner here , holds Magic Ice on recent runs and looks a better sort than the others at this stage and with Frank riding has to be in with a shout.

WIN : DANGEROUS AGE - 1st @ 2.02
EW - SCARLET STRAND -
**********************************************
RACE 2 :
Another 5f Hcap but its a race full to the brim with nothing more than utter fucking shit!!...and you gtee that Tesco's will be round the back sniffing for a bargain! , These races are types that i do by and large leave alone as they are just plain awful and you will go broke quick backing in these consistently.
However if i was at the track or wanted a selection for a placepot then i would be on CADMIUM LOCH ( EW ) .

WIN - CADMIUM LOCH ( EW ) - 4th ( Beaten a hd )
***********************************************
RACE 3:
I see no reason to go against PARTY PALACE here as this is effectively a winner without a penalty as it won a hands n heels race lto but in a time marginally quicker than Speed Steed's ( both over CD ) and i think little quinny is a better jockey and gets the vote from me , i think these two shud be fighting out the finish, well at least one and i may end up just lumping on Party Palace in the place market as i feel that is 100% nailed on , a Dutch on these two is also a solid bet.

WIN - PARTY PALACE - 2nd @ 21.0 ( 4.22 ) BoooM ;-)
EW -  STEED SPEED -
************************************************
RACE 4 :
This is a very tricky Claimer with there being almost nothing to separate most of these although both FAITHFUL RULER & ONE WAY OR ANOTHER both stand out as the most likeliest winners and Honey of a Kitten as a nailed on MAX LAY ( 3rd ).This is not however a race to go over board on, small stakes if any as its wide open apart from HOAK as that is regressing at a rate of knots.

WIN - FAITHFUL RULER -
EW - ONE WAY OR ANOTHER -
LONG - REFRESHTHEPARTS - 1st @ 3.70
*************************************************
RACE 5 :
An absolute pig shit of a maiden here but its the race that carries the evenings Mega Nap in HE'S A STRIKER rated a rather generous 78 this could run to 68 and still win on the bridle , yes Al Sulami and Secret Advice should both come on for their recent runs but He's a Striker's 2nd ( HD ) behind Altharoos at Beverley is miles clear in form terms and there is no way that either of them are 80 rated horses , i think maybe 64-68 ( tops ) and cannot see them troubling this, fitness is obviously a question and lack of a recent spin but i still think this only needs be at 75% to win comfortably.
WIN - HE'S A STRIKER - 2nd @ 1.31 ;-(...gifted some winnings back there...
**************************************************
RACE 6 :
Now we have possibly the  classiest race of the card , a 7f Hcap with all the runners in some state of form with most having recent good runs under their belt and quite a big divide in the weights ( over a stone top>bottom ) but the two i really like here are STREET BATTLE & GRILLETO , The former hacked up by 7l over CD and is open to any amount of improvement and the latter also won over CD lto in a nursery and looks a likely sort that worth keeping onside with as Teophillip has run poorly on the AW either side of its nice win in Heavy Ground whilst Staffhos and Lucky Di both seem to find at least 1 or 2 too good although both are due a win i just dont think today will be their day.
WIN - STREET BATTLE -
EW - GRILLETO -
**************************************************
RACE 7 :
And in this finale we have a small field but competitive 1m4f Hcap and is probably the 2nd toughest race of the day with the front 3 being very closely matched , you have the Hat Trick seeking Broxbourne ,  CD Winner Rosies Lady & Bernisdale and i fancy the drop back in trip will suit BROXBOURNE and i will have a go with that.
WIN - BROXBOURNE -
