This has only ever won once over this trip and that was at Brighton however it has won on multiple occasions over 7f here at Southwell which is basically its 2nd home , obv a lover of the course if not the trip but i feel there will be enough pace in this to make it a true test and that is what this needs , Southwell is a quirky course, some love it , some hate it, and if your a proven lover then that itself is a big plus and for me i think this has a fair shout in a race that is wide open.
2. 15:05 Southwell - BOCAMIX ( 5.3 ) - Shit..
This last raced when it won over CD and although it has a rather unreliable profile its last 4 races here at Southwell over CD have resulted in 3/3/3/1 so that is showing a good consistency here if not over hurdles or elsewhere and is worth a bet in the place market for a single at the minimum.
3. 14:10 Ludlow - RED ROUBLE ( 24.0 ) - Rubbishy and Shit..
This i believe is perceived as the stable 2nd string yet has far better credentials and the horse Sam is riding patently looks like it cant stay a yard over 2m so this 3m grind will def not suit , Rouble has some decent form of its own although does himself throw in quite a few " cant be bothered " efforts...but that is built into the price i feel and if on a going day could easily navigate himself into a place passing beaten horses.
4. 16:55 Ludlow - MACS RETURN - ( 5.3 ) - has yet to run..but its not looking good..at least i cleaned up elsewhere and my NAP wins ;-) - Result to follow : -
This is a very expensive purchase and big things are expected and you can get a fair price due to the quality in this field , well worth an EW nibble.
