Cool , miserable day....with some very average racing again today , always an anti-climax after the Lincoln Weekend ;-( , sat here feeling rather flat today with not a lot to say.....
Hmm i think i need a couple of weeks in the sun , maybe its time for a break ,....Dunno why but im feeling rather Melancholic today.
Lets look at todays racing...
SEDGEFIELD
1.Saga de Tercey looks Nailed on for the Opener - ( NAP ) - 1st @ 1.77
FONTWELL
1.Compassion ( EW @ 12.5 ) is interesting today not one of IDK's but it is on his warm list , ran ok for MW Bell on the Flat achieving a rating in the high sixties but did race well over 2m coming 2nd after been pushed and shoved and battling on so the stamina is there but with Tweedledrum , Ninfea and Ms Cordella ( it looks to be between these 4 ) this will be a fairly decent race , Hopefully i can find something to double this up with.* Its fair to say this was very tenderly handled , public schooling? , probably.
2.Water Wagtail ( EW @ 5.0 ) is the 2nd of the 2 ECL runners today and this one is related ( same Mare ) to Kentford Grey Lady ( same ownership ) and with the Wily Emma using Conor Quish to Claim a very handy 10lbs this should run a very tidy race , there are 2 or 3 horses of interest in this race to note but the strength overall is weak and i think a place at least is expected , whatever happens today watch and notepad.
SOUTHWELL

So there you have it, no need for a summary or any analysis , today is very poor indeed , Another day off then and DIY time ;-).
*I will be having an EW double on the above 2 ECL runners and a day saver with the Nap , to round the day off i will probably look at buying some money by backing Barca tonight to beat A C Milan, with that have a great day and i will see you all later.

Flat! You should be doing cartwheels after ya big win. I've been busy updating blogs and reviewing races. Moving in the right direction so that's good.

Hi Mate , Yeah i do go thru phases of up and down , and today i just feel a bit down, lethargic and generally sad , maybe its the returning cold weather?...or maybe not enough of my readers interacting and " supporting the blog " , i dunno, should be ok by Fri...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have my moments (you'd never guess, hey...lol). I have been a busy bee so a little quiet although I do try to say something most days. I've been busy updating the blogs etc and it can take ages. I was going to say that not even a hedgehog would feel flat after a big win. Well, unless it was crossing the road, perhaps... :-)
