Bubba Watson

Take a bow son , solid all the way and your nerve held up , some great shots and some great saves your first Masters is deserved although i was also very pleased with the way Westie , Poulter and Rose Played vwd lads , Big Phil took a gamble on the 4th which led him to a double bogey 6 and effectively ended his chance although he battled on to come joint 2nd , Woods the Mercurial Tiger Woods i have to say i feel is finished now as a dominant force in the sport , the troubles , the Knee surgery the lack of motivation all have contributed towards a gradual decline in his game , the sport has never had such an open feel to it and that can only be good.
A brilliant Masters , a tight finish as predicted and a new champion , excellent stuff.

Last night i was watching , following and betting whilst out on a Town sesh with the mighty Sledge who again was pissed before we had finished playing pool ;-) , town was busy for a change , good atmosphere and some good laughs , Cheers matey.

Woke nice and fresh today without a glimmer of a hangover which is both excellent and surprising and i am now looking forward to a monster day of racing which holds the Irish Grand National as a key contributor.

So many races , so many selections , so many choices.......what does one do?...

Lets start off with the Irish Grand National a race which is tough , competitive and almost impossible to nap.
i think having looked through the field that there is quite a bit of dead wood knocking about and quite a few who i dont expect to stay this trip with this in mind i shall post up  a back bet and my idea of a decent EW alternative.
BACK - CROSS APPEAL - ( 30.6 ) -
EW OUTSIDER - LEANNE - ( 80.0 ) -
Now both of these are of a price that allows a fair EW / Trade Punt and you should get a decent run for your money neither tho are worth risking the house on but are worth having some fun with , have a small go , enjoy the race and lets hope fortune favours the brave!!.

Elsewhere with 7 other cards on the racing doesnt get any easier but lets see if we can pull a Nap or two out and maybe a nice EW L15 ;-)...

CHEPSTOW
1. 15:25 : LOTD - KINDLY NOTE - ( 3.35 ) - 1st @ 3/1 ( Bollocks )
This was a tough choice as there are quite a few " i fancy " here today including Black Thunder , Back Bob Back and Ours but ultimately this one sticks out as a knocking bet , i have spoke to Ian ( idk , Friend of Emma's ) regarding this horse and he just said basically its a very limited beast and they are working there way down the food chain until it strikes which in all honesty wont be today, a form line through A Little Swifter would suggest that this horse is not improving for racing and it is what it is , i feel there is plenty enough in this race to take it on with , in your corner you have Glen Countess , My Viking Bay , Whichever , Blowing a Hoolie and Hurricane Milly this is easily enough to make this a very good race to lay.
*Won by a very easy 10 lengths.....sigh , so we know now its level...

FAKENHAM
2. 16:25 : EMPEROR'S CHOICE - ( 3.15 ) - 1st @ 3.25
On a trappy card this looks to me to be the only standout bet and even that i cant Nap , but i will NAP the PLACE ONLY bet @ 1.65 , anything over 1.5 is a steal here with withdrawn horses narrowing the field but BF still paying top 3 there is only 2 others with any hope of getting involved and as such i feel that after destroying the field in his last race by 14 lengths this is the most likely improver and winner , the place bet is nailed on imo.

HUNTINGDON
3. 14:20 : ANOTHER MIRACLE ( EW ) - PU Again...give up on this one!
Raced far too freely fto this season over 3m110yds when right in contention till 4 out only to fold tamely and pull up , with that run under his belt and now back over 2m5f with Callum Whillans riding in this conditionals event at 9.8 this looks a corking bet.

YARMOUTH
4. 17:20 : CONDUCTING ( EW ) -
There are a few to choose from here principally the Zarooni trio Zaeem , Grizzle and Periphery all of these i expect to be winning a cheeky little trixie on these is in order , but the one that Interest me most today at a half decent price is Conducting @ 16.5 ( probs trade higher ) , has some decent form at the trip , is in form , is fit , is consistent and has the Mercurial talents of Derby winning M Barzalona , worth an EW punt imo.

WARWICK
5. 14:10 SEVEN BORE / SUIVEZ L'ARGENT ( WIN DUTCH @ 3.5 Each ) - 1st @ 3.8 ( Seven Bore )
A fairly decent little seller for 2 yr olds with the fto winner seven bore re opposing against the 2nd Suivez and although i dont see the form being turned around i cant find anything to beat these two as Suivez may find extra improvement from a better start and longer trip i feel that at these prices i simply cant resist.

Thats it for today , my blogging time has run out and its post or forget time, being almost 2pm...i will be having a cheeky EW double  on those mentioned and just single lumping the rest , have a great BH Monday where ever you are , see you all tmrw!!..ttfn x
