If this post receives at  least 10 comments then it will just stay open regardless , just drop in say hi , whatever...i want to know if its bots or humans following....it seems a shame that if i have that many readers that there is no sort of craic going on....
This Blog forms no part of the paid site , is entirely free ( hence the shortage of info some days and limited card availability )..is here for all and for information and to hopefully spin yall a few quid en route...
I have several different revenue streams going on at any one day as i am doing this from dawn to dusk and can only spread myself so far...
Any thoughts, comments, questions..any input would be appreciated....
So come on ya fuckers get scribing.....

  1. Hey MG,
As requested I am outing myself as a recent follower of this blog. Great work.....but to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what to do with all the info you are handing out.
I feel like I can get a second income stream going with some kind of trading but I'm all over the place as to what system (if any) to follow.

  2. Hi Martin and thanks for commenting.
The info is not streamlined and is a mish-Mash of everything that i do , its bits and pieces , predominately for Laying , but with some nice back bets , a lot of trading mixed with dutches, arbs and btl's....
Yes a lot to take in , but its there to give you an idea generally of what is out there , you give me an idea of what type of revenue stream your looking at and i will advise you on best route.
what i generally do , is firstly make my wage for the day , then stop.
then if the racing is a sort that i want to be involved in i will play with my fun money account, an account that i have built up slowly but with money that can 100% be pissed away, so i will use it for some larger lays, extravagant backs and assorted dutches , if these come off and that account builds then i use that for shit like holidays, nights out etc...all the time the wage account is protected , i will have maybe 2 or 3 lays of the day and these make my wage...everything else is fun...
As advised to Boom , you have to have an idea of what you want out of this.....if you just roll up with £500 and hit every race you will lose eventually , you have to make a plan , i will help where i can , but having targets is paramount, are you a backer ? , a layer ? , do you want to just trade? , or just follow the race cards when produced?....there must be an angle where you feel the strongest and for now that is where you should start...play to your strengths, then when you have built a roll, get your spares together and experiment....
    any questions mate just ask.

  3. Cheers,
Without boring you too much with the details; I have spent the last 12 months or so doing a bit of 'Matched Betting'. This gave me about £50-£100 beer money but it has started to get a bit tiresome.
However, I am now prettty familiar with the whole back/lay dutching process. I would like to get started on small time trading and/or advantage gambling but just a bit unsure of where to start. Something that takes 30-60 minutes a day and can provide a bit of spending money would be ideal.
Have been reading about Weight of Money Trading but I don't know if that is a valid strategy for a newbie. Is that something you do or have done?

  4. Sorry, i changed my username in the meantime.
To clarify, I used MBing to make about £50 to £100 a month.
I don't have any pretence of quitting my job to make a living on betfair anytime soon but I feel sure that I can apply myself to make an extra few quid across the week whilst building up experience and knowledge. The less it feels like gambling, the better for me.
Again, grateful for any advice you care to offer.

  5. For what you want i would rec picking the three lowest rated favourites of the day and lay them with a trade back at 75% for 1 point raise.
Minimal liabilities if it wins, safe solid earnigs otherwise, this should give you a weekly return of around 20% of your bank..with minimal risk and all can be set up in your own time from home or work.
Forget WoM and other arbitrage projects...
Personally i pay virtually zero credance to WoM and other useful tools as they often confuse more than help , you have to make ur own mind up , decide on ur strategy and then follow that , ie: pick horse , decide on type of bet , play...really simple, dont try and confuse matters or try to get too stuck in the mechanics of it all , i have friends who trade only short priced favs...nothing else, but they have a bank of £100k +++ , so to snatch ( scalp ) a point here and there makes them an easy £50-£500 per race , its all relative....
